Disregard the dry holes and scratches.
I noticed about two days ago some yellowing of one of the original leaves (in hand). Every other leaf is near perfect and my newest keeps growing with an aerial root. Iâve gone from 4 to 10 within the past year in just water.
Iâve just removed some dead roots and replaced the water. Am I good?

So I had my monstera since June 2023 and started to grow them in water around August 2023 once i noticed a lot of browning. I recently had to cut two new baby leafs as they came in yellow and brown around the edges but two new ones recently popped up that looks decent. Itâs been really dark, cold and raining in houston so sun is not on my side. Iâve been thinking about putting them back in soil and purchasing a small grow light but iâm not sure anymore. The picture on the left is from September and the right picture is the most recent one from November. This would be my second monstera that dies and iâm trying so hard but iâm unsure at the moment. Any advice?

Hi all! Looking for some advice. My monstera roots are starting to grow through the drainage holes in its existing pot which is about 12â in diameter and 12-14â deep (plastic).
Should I look to repot in a larger pot? I use Leca as the medium and curious if any of you have a similar set up and suggestions on the next pot type and size. Help please đ€

I got this plant from my mother in law. I repotted it yesterday and put it in my well lit living room. Iâve never had a monstera â is this pot an ok size? Do I need to put any stakes in the soil for it to climb and have a good growth? It looks a little sad but I did repot it so Iâm hoping it perks up!

Can this be saved? Iâve had it sitting in water in a jar for a couple weeks after root rot set in, and it keeps going downhill. Wondering if I should take a clipping (and if so, how?), or just let it die? Any feedback appreciated!

So the more I learn about monsteras the more I think this plant might be oneâŠ
What do yâall think? The tag said white wizard philodendron but is that definitely not it. The plant identifying ai on here isnât getting it right either.

Hello! Iâm advanced with succulents, but new to other plants. Iâm loving it! So Iâve been collecting and I got this baby at Target and it says itâs a monstera but the app keeps identifying it as other things (pothos, philodendron) I know monsteras can start out with whole leaves and split later. Wondering if thatâs the case here, or this isnât a monstera at all.

Hello friends! So Iâm still fairly new to plants, I got my first ones on Motherâs Day. Then I somehow ended up with a LOT of plants. It happened so fast đ But anywayyyy, this monsters is one that I was gifted on Motherâs Day. The first pic Iâd from shortly after I got it, and the other 3 are from tonight. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or pointers for me. Iâve recently been struggling with its new leaves not opening. They start, and then just turn brown and die before they even unfurl. Iâve been trying to most more since I noticed the issue and I think it has helped. But should I be doing anything else? And does it look like Iâm caring for it correctly as far as the pot itâs in and the way I have the stick in there for supper? I was advised last month that this is a viney monstera, should I have it in a hanging planter rather than using the stick for support so the plant and be hanging and let the vines just hang down?
I apologize for how long this is. If youâve made it this far, thank you! Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! đȘŽ

Mini monstera, why is it dropping leaves? It was doubled in height, but the light in the corner wasnât enough for good leaves. The breaks between leaves were too large. So I cut it back, added a moisture meter(which is reading fine) and added lights. Pls help, (the yellow leaves shown do not account for the 10+ in the last week
