Disregard the dry holes and scratches. I noticed about two days ago some yellowing of one of the original leaves (in hand). Every other leaf is near perfect and my newest keeps growing with an aerial root. I’ve gone from 4 to 10 within the past year in just water. I’ve just removed some dead roots and replaced the water. Am I good?

So I had my monstera since June 2023 and started to grow them in water around August 2023 once i noticed a lot of browning. I recently had to cut two new baby leafs as they came in yellow and brown around the edges but two new ones recently popped up that looks decent. It’s been really dark, cold and raining in houston so sun is not on my side. I’ve been thinking about putting them back in soil and purchasing a small grow light but i’m not sure anymore. The picture on the left is from September and the right picture is the most recent one from November. This would be my second monstera that dies and i’m trying so hard but i’m unsure at the moment. Any advice?

Hi all! Looking for some advice. My monstera roots are starting to grow through the drainage holes in its existing pot which is about 12” in diameter and 12-14” deep (plastic). Should I look to repot in a larger pot? I use Leca as the medium and curious if any of you have a similar set up and suggestions on the next pot type and size. Help please 🤗

My monsterra is growing out of the pot mostly in one direction. He’s very unruly! Any tips on repotting to get him recentered? He’s also got a long spare root.

I got this plant from my mother in law. I repotted it yesterday and put it in my well lit living room. I’ve never had a monstera — is this pot an ok size? Do I need to put any stakes in the soil for it to climb and have a good growth? It looks a little sad but I did repot it so I’m hoping it perks up!

Hi! Anyone know why some leaves are “wrinklier” like this?? Is this normal or not? Thank you :)

Do anyone know what this is on the underside stem of my monstera? And is it normal/okay for it to be there?

Can this be saved? I’ve had it sitting in water in a jar for a couple weeks after root rot set in, and it keeps going downhill. Wondering if I should take a clipping (and if so, how?), or just let it die? Any feedback appreciated!

So the more I learn about monsteras the more I think this plant might be one… What do y’all think? The tag said white wizard philodendron but is that definitely not it. The plant identifying ai on here isn’t getting it right either.

Hello! I’m advanced with succulents, but new to other plants. I’m loving it! So I’ve been collecting and I got this baby at Target and it says it’s a monstera but the app keeps identifying it as other things (pothos, philodendron) I know monsteras can start out with whole leaves and split later. Wondering if that’s the case here, or this isn’t a monstera at all. TIA

Hello friends! So I’m still fairly new to plants, I got my first ones on Mother’s Day. Then I somehow ended up with a LOT of plants. It happened so fast 😂 But anywayyyy, this monsters is one that I was gifted on Mother’s Day. The first pic I’d from shortly after I got it, and the other 3 are from tonight. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or pointers for me. I’ve recently been struggling with its new leaves not opening. They start, and then just turn brown and die before they even unfurl. I’ve been trying to most more since I noticed the issue and I think it has helped. But should I be doing anything else? And does it look like I’m caring for it correctly as far as the pot it’s in and the way I have the stick in there for supper? I was advised last month that this is a viney monstera, should I have it in a hanging planter rather than using the stick for support so the plant and be hanging and let the vines just hang down? I apologize for how long this is. If you’ve made it this far, thank you! Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! 🪴

Mini monstera, why is it dropping leaves? It was doubled in height, but the light in the corner wasn’t enough for good leaves. The breaks between leaves were too large. So I cut it back, added a moisture meter(which is reading fine) and added lights. Pls help, (the yellow leaves shown do not account for the 10+ in the last week
