Need opinions- Iâm growing my deliciosa in water right now and have been contemplating for awhile putting it in soil. I feel like itâll do better. Iâm struggling bc Iâm also wanting badly to jisy keep it in water. Ultimately i feel like Iâm leaning more towards soil. Thoughts?!? Pic of monstera in question
Just got this plant from my aunt, any tips?
Well, I got her a grow light that isnât purple. Its super bright-meter said about 3.4 DLI . How far away from it should she be? I took her off of the little stand because she was touching the bulb. I did order a hanging lamp but in the meantime⊠also has a humidifier there. The whole room actually looks a lot sunnier. Should I leave her alone in her corner or should I put a couple of other plants with the same needs near her? It looks purple on camera but itâs super bright white.
My babies loveeeeeee this kitchen window. I think the humidity from both the window and the sink right there make it perfect đ„°
Iâve had Mimosa for 5 monthsđȘŽ Iâm a new plant mum and just winging it, I added the moss pole a few months back to help it grow upwards. Does it look ok? Any advice? TIA
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it . I got this new monstera yesterday from home depot and i saw the wanky leaf and thought it was just severely dehydrated because the soil was so dry. I got home saw it was root bound repotted it and watered it. this morning it wasn't perked up and i inspected for pests but there were none i treated the leaves anyways . It also has part of the leaf thats bent side ways. it also has some crispy brown spots on some of the edges and random brown spots in the middle of the leaf.
Neighbor asked me if I wanted a plant that she was getting ready to throw out. I said sure, not knowing what kind it was, and came home to this on my porch đđđ. I repotted today and am praying I didnât shock it too much, there were at least 4â of roots bound on the bottom.

Pampered much? I just rearranged my office slash living room for the queen. I kept imagining how big sheâs gonna get and she needed a real space. Iâm not a fan of these blue lights. Looking for something else this weekend.
hi everyone, i have a question. iâve never had a monstera before and want to get one for my apartment. i know they have high humidity needs, but i donât want to get a humidifier. would misting it frequently be enough for it to stay happy?
My living room is challenging. This window is sw so itâs the best sun in the house. Iâd really like her to be in the window more but the window air conditioner is here for the rest of the summer. Would it be better to leave her to the side or would she be ok say 4 feet away from that ac but more in front of the window? Like behind the couch?? But sheâs gonna get big.. hmm

Iâm so happy that I found this group! I just got my first monstera and sheâs already my pride and joy! She got a big girl pot yesterday and seems super happy about it. Iâm not settled on her name yet. lol to me sheâs a big deal :) Iâm sure Iâll have a million questions

I finally got myself a Monstera on Sunday. I am so excited to have her!! She was SUPER leany, so I gave her a little moss pole. Canât wait to see how she grows. Her name is Deli. Any tips for caring for this girl?

wanted to show my guy! Got him a couple weeks ago now and heâs growing some new leaves!! I think 9 total! Also wanted to ask about the brown leaves. What does this mean and what can I do?
Is my Obliqua too far from my grow light? It's about 2.5 feet from a pair of 2ft Barrina T5s mounted at the top of my Rudsta cabinet; I don't want it to get leggy, and I do have extra lights if I need to supplement! (The yellow spots are from when I first brought it home and swift realized it needed way more humidity than my air conditioned office).
