GO GIRL!!!!! she never fails to impress me!! 🥹🥹
I’ve been avoiding the repots on my two monsteras. They are both BEASTLY. Today, I decided to tackle the one that lives in my office. She was SOOOOOOO rootbound. I had to chop her up and divide into 3 plants! One was gifted, this one will remain in the office and the third I had to bring home to deal with tomorrow (didn’t take enough soil with me). My goal was to get them down to one or two stems and then focus on BIGGER leaves.
Hey! Is it ok to leave this Monstera outside? I just bought it.
New babies !
Help!! One of the newest leaves on my monkey mask has gone brown and crispy on one of the edges! An older leaf is also looking a bit off colour too. It’s just pushed out a new leaf and is pushing out another so I don’t understand. She gets no direct sun but is in a lovely bright south and west facing room.
hi guys - advice please, is that mould? I water my monstera according to this app, and I usually water it until water is dripping out the draining holes a lot, so about 200ml of water each time. then once it stops dripping, i pop it straight into the main plant stand… is this wrong??
I have a habit of rescuing monsteras when I see them. I saved this big guy from Home Depot. Apparently I’m doing a good job because look at this leaf I’m getting from a botched stem cutting! The first picture is when I got him, the second is the leaf!
I was gifted this big girl… does she need a repotted in a bigger pot? Propagated? She has ALOT of baby leafs hidden and a few BIG new leafs too. ***We have a chunky soil mix with good drainage. Great lighting +grow light on cloudy days.*** Idk I’m new to this please help.😅
Hello! I propagated my Monstera Deliciosa earlier today and I was just wondering when to expect new growth from the base plant and when to expect roots and new growth from the cuttings?
How quick should my soil drain out for my monstera 🤔
I am so excited after 2 months of having her she’s finally getting a new leaf 🥹🥹
HELP PLEASE! My girlfriend had her monstera at her mom’s house for about 2 years (her mom keeps the house warmer). Yesterday she wanted to take her plant back and put it along with her other plants. She lives in a high rise apartment building with huge glass window walls so lighting is perfect. However, the super healthy plant turned black in the span of like 6 hours yesterday. We’re thinking it’s cold shock bc it was removed from its environment and my gf’s place is cooler and the ceiling air vent was above the monstera. Is there anything that can be done? She’s very emotionally invested in this plant and I’m trying to help her find some guidance here. Thank you!
Wondering if/how I should prune my monstera? I have 2 new leaves that just sprouted from 2 damaged/scorched leaves and wondering if I should remove the damaged/scorched leaves and how?? It’s kind of hard to tell but each damaged/droopy leaf is the second stem from a large nicely fenestrated leaf. So the new leaves are the third in each bunch. I’m basically torn between leaving everything to get more photosynthesis and removing the droopy leaves to get more nutrients to the new leaves? Thanks in advance!
No one tells, you once you buy one you want more…. 🥲🌱
Desperate for help…don’t want to kill this one 😟! I was drastically underwatering my monstera for a while (I took it to a professional and he was AGHAST, immediately gave it water). Now, two brand new leaves have sprouted, yay! But two of the old leaves are yellowing/browning and shriveling. What do I do? It also just got repotted in case that’s relevant!
my monstera propagation its growing a new little stem!!
I can’t believe I found a local plant shop that had these Thai constellations. And they let me have this one for just $25. 🖤
Just a question about my Monstera Adansonii, it has gotten to the point where it’s about 4 1/2 feet long, but it’s in a really small pot. Is there anything I should do? I am also afraid of it going into shock and dying. It’s one of my favorite plants what do I do? Just for background information, it has been vining along my window and the wall around it and is in a pot that is probably 8 inches in diameter. Should I repot or leave it? What dirt should I use and should it be in a hanging pot?
