Hi! my monstera adansonii seems to have these yellow leaves forming at the bottom. It’s been getting new healthy leaves but has these at the bottom and i’m not sure why. Should I cut them or let them die naturally? and how come they are yellowing? Id love any feedback thank you for reading :)

Hi all! I’ve been putting off repotting her all winter. The last few months I’ve had 4-5 older leaves yellow and no new leaves. I wasn’t sure the cause. We had to use power tools to cut her thick plastic pot. I could hardly knock any dirt from the roots because it was all so compact. 😧 Let’s hope she likes her new pot and starts to thrive!

Hi!! Do y’all think I should cut off the little leaf or leave it for now? I watched a video saying to cut off those but I’m too nervous😂 She’s pushing out a new leaf and I want her to succeed! Thank y’all!

Help. Why is it doing this😭 In an east window. Recently sprayed neem oil where I left it in dark for over 15 hours. Fertilizer in the soil and I just took it out of its self water pot because she was too wet.

Why are the leaves so droopy? Did i put it too straight when I tied it to the pole? I’m very new at plants. I bought this one on Facebook marketplace. Repotted twice because I realized the first pot was way too big 🤦🏻‍♀️ She’s now in a clear 6in nursery pot so I can see better when the soil is dry. I water and mist per planta’s advice. Soil is potting soil + perlite + coco coir. The soil was dry for at least 2in when i last added water + fertilizer a week ago. She’s in a room with a large south facing window, but she’s about 8ft from the window. I’m winging it and learning as I go! So - any thoughts on why it’s so droopy and what I should do? Thank you! 😊

Okay, I know new growth comes from the last grown leaf. So on my monstera what should I be looking for to see if a new growth is starting?

Can you tell if this is one or more plants? How can I stop her leaning over. I’m going to repot Montsè soon. I’ve got a pot that’s 4cm bigger, a nice airy potting mix that I’m cobbling together myself, a couple of bendy coir poles and I’m waiting on some 3D printed moss poles and moss to come. It’ll be the very first time I’ve attempted a repot a Monstera and a plant this big. I got her in this pot from an online store (approx September last year) and she has always tried to lean towards one side. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated 🙏🏼 PS I can get better pictures if you need them.

My husband and I went on a day trip to a nursery about 1 hour from our place; just to get out of the house. I had no intention of buying any plants…I know, famous last words. But! I found this thia constellation for $89! I have placed her in my kitchen with my green monstera. I’m absolutely delighted every time I go into the kitchen!

Questions! New to this, so pardon my terminology. I was gifted this monstera. 1. The only leaves so far have been towards the bottom. They’ve been smaller and solid. This new leaf shows fenestration. What determines how a leaf grows? 2 and 3. It looks like new stalks/stems growing from spots that have been cut in the past. I don’t see leafy parts growing here. Is this normal? 4. Is it normal to see these little “buds” at the bottom of the main stem area? 5. What causes yellow leaves? Am I over-watering? Should I leave this to recover? If I need to cut, how do I know where to cut? 6. The main stems grow sideways vs upwards. Should I add a pole to gently pull them upward? Thanks for sticking with me and helping as I learn!!

Help. Is this water issue.? I removed from water pot. But I want to stop this quickly. She is gorgeous 😭 I also have new growths coming in as pictured Was sprayed with neem oil a few days ago and it’s in bright indirect light rn. I’m also thinking she’s needs a bigger pot. Advice please. Current pot is 6in

My little albo variegata monstera is seemingly happy but hasn’t really grown much or produced any new leaves. Would that be because of winter/cold in my area (or does it matter because it’s inside)? I’ve been following Planta’s care schedule. Wanting to help it thrive. Ty lovelies! 🌱

My monstera is really happy - putting out 3 new leaves in the past week. No signs of any unhappiness. But I have noticed very small mushrooms growing out of the base of my moss pole. There have been 2 mushrooms in the past 2 months that I have scooped out by hand. Any suggestions?

Does she need help? I got this Monstera Adansonii about a month ago and she’s already put out these 2 leaves, but they haven’t completely unfurled? The lower one has been out for at least a week and a half now. I also noticed this bottom leaf is still a little curled under. She was sitting in some soil that I think held moisture for too long; I noticed some white fuzz on the surface, so I repotted 3 days ago into a mix of soil, perlite, and orchid bark. I haven’t watered again since repotting to give it a chance to not be so wet. None of the roots looked black though, aside from one small higher up one that looked like maybe an aerial root forming? So, is the curling alarming?
