My monstera bay I didn’t know she would just grow so fast 😭 I was unprepared and I don’t know what’s best to use or how to support her
Thai Constellation is definitely my favorite monstera. The leaves have grown larger faster vs. my Albo.
I got my dad a Thai con and this is its newest leaf!! So gorgeous
Should I be concerned how it’s growing? I plan on repotting in the spring, should I repot sooner?
Look at this big girl leaf cooking 🥺🥹😭
Literally can’t take up close pictures of the new leaves unless I get a ladder. I stood on my couch for this one 😂
I need help deciding to chop now or to wait until she pops her next leaf. I just brought her back inside for the winter and she is under a grow light currently. I just added more slow release fertilizer granuals as well. This poor girl has been on a journey. I got her as a three leaf cutting from my sister almost four years ago now. She was growing beautifully at our old house and had the perfect spot. Then I became pregnant with my second and we moved. Her care declined for a while and I couldn't find her a good spot with enough light in our new home. Her leaves started getting smaller and loosing fenestrations until I realized I could grow her outside on my covered porch and she has been out there since spring. It took sometime but she is back in full health looking magnificent. I want to chop her and just start over with the beautiful big new leaves. 1) Is it okay to reroot her over winter under a grow light? We have mild winters where I live. 2) Should I wait until she pops her new leaf before chopping? It looks like it could pop anytime, but on the other hand it might not since I just moved her and changed her conditions. 3) What is the max leaves you think is okay to reroot together? Is four on the same stem too many?
I have a young Thai constellation monstera that’s currently about 10” tall. It’s grown 2” since I got it a month ago, but I want to give it a moss pole to help it out more. Right now, it’s in a 3” pot. Would I want to move it to something like a 7” pot to give it room to grow with the pole, or would that much soil/moisture be too much for the small amount of roots currently there? I’m looking at getting a moss pole (the kind you fill with sphagnum moss) that’s 3.75” across the front and 23” tall. This is my first time experimenting with a moss pole, so I’m open to any and all suggestions!
Hello! So my albo monstera has been with one leaf for the longest. Can anyone tell if there’s a node or if it’s considered a zombie leaf? Thank you in advance!
my monstera thai con is shooting its first new leaf since i have purchased her!!! i love my melon so much i’m so excited to see how this leaf turns out 💚
Should I separate my monstera? or should I just leave it alone...
New leaf on my Thai con :]
I just got my first ever leaf with inner fenestration!
Our largest and smallest monsteras. We’ve had this Thai constellation for about a year and a half. It’s been split in half and shared with family and it’s still huge! She’s been brought inside for the winter. And the tiny variegated swiss cheese we’ve had for a couple of months and have already seen so much growth! 🪴
How often do you have to repot your Monstera? I've had mine maybe 1.5 years if that and this is going to be the fourth time. I go up two sizes each time and wait until the roots are bulging the nursery pot as well as coming our of the bottom. I don't want to go too big that it stays too wet.
Hi, I’m new to caring for a Monstera. I bought mine a little while ago, and I realize now that I didn’t do enough research to choose one with a more organized stem structure. The plant doesn’t look very happy, and the stems are growing in all different directions. I’d like to separate and arrange the stems so it looks healthier, but I’m not sure how to do that. I also watched some YouTube videos, but they made it seem like a really complicated process. Could you please give me some advice? Thank you.
Hi! My monstera is a propagation from a friends. I notice the bottom where new leaves would come is brown. A new leaf has grown in and it has brown lines/ is damaged. Any idea what I can do? The rest of the plant is healthy!
My monstera is due for a repot. Right now it’s in a 7.5” pot. What size should I size up to? Also, I’m thinking of adding a moss pole, but my monstera is kind of going in two different directions. If I put one pole in the middle, I’m scared I will break the stems if I tie it back towards the middle. Any advice?? Pics of the front and back to show it growing in two directions :) 🪴
I just tried to replant my monstera and the roots were so packed in that it unfortunately broke/snapped off. Should I try propagating in water to get more roots or just put in a planter and hope for the best? I really hope I didn’t just kill it😢
