I had to move my monstera from my sunroom. She is now facing a NW window. She was drooping and had a lot of gnats in which I finally got rid of those pesky pests. IDK what else to do with Mary, but I hope that she will do better in this spot for now.

Hello! This is my first Monstera (and my first plant!!) and I am so excited to take care of him. I see a lot of people with poles in their monsteras ā does he need one? He is about 2.5 ft. tall right now at his tallest point!

My little Thai babe is doing wonderful. New leaf finally unfurled this morning and sheās āØfabulous āØ
I have this on multiple leaves . Itās not scale right? The AI diagnose tool said it was fungal infection and I had to cut all the leaves with it but that would be almost all of its beautiful leavesš¢ let me know if thatās my only option
I just sold a Thai to someone and she asked to see the mother plant as it was a top cut. I showed her this and she laughed and thought I was joking. Iāve cut 8 plants from this with another one coming.
Does anyone know why my monstera Thai put a leaf out this shape? The leaf was not stuck when growing.
Alex gave me a gorgeous new leaf this week!!!

Hello everyone, long time no talk! As some of you may remember I propagated my girl Izzy, and Iām back and asking if she is ready to be planted into soil now. You guys said once my roots grow its own system and I believe they did. If you can let me know that would be great! Thanks in advance.

Hey monstera enthusiasts. I just got a new Thai constellation yesterday from Home Depot, itās my first ever monstera. It was shipped from out of state and was in a shipping box for about 5 days. Is there anything special I need to do for it to help it acclimate? I have it about a foot away from a vertical standing grow light at the moment and Iām wondering if thatās too much light too soon out of a dark box. Iām also wondering if I should repot right away or not. Itās currently in a medium I donāt recognize and Iām always wary of the soil at big box stores especially since theyāre notorious for overwatering. I generally like to pot my aroids in Grow Queenās Craft Aroid Mix because Iāve had a lot of success with it for philodendrons as well as non-aroid plants that require a breathable, chunky mix. The other reason Iām questioning repotting right away is because the back of the plant is pushed right up to the edge of the pot with no support. They did include a bamboo stick thatās pushed into the soil, but the placement doesnāt really make sense to me, itās not really in a position where itās doing anything to support the plant right now. All advice and care tips are welcome!
My newest albo. š Iām so excited! The last pic is the mother plant the seller propagated it from!
"Stole" a piece of my teenagers monstera. He has a sizeable collection so it's only fair that he shares š¤£
Hello. My name is John, Iām new to this group, and⦠Iāve been a Plantaholic since 2019. Anyway⦠Recently I found myself shaking to purchase a plant at discount prices. I slipped into a Home Depot Nursery while no one was looking and I began to look at all of the seasonal plants, and looking for any and all discounted plants. It was intoxicating as I found myself sitting on the floor looking at plants, touching each one, and putting them all back. That is until I came upon this water jar Monstera. It too was at ground level, deep in the back, as newer seasonal plants were all on top. And this monstera was 50% off. I may have had a plant induced blackout because the next thing I knew someone was saying āSir. Do you need help?ā as I was just sitting there on the ground & admiring this monstera. I pulled myself together and went to the register to pay for the plant. I carried him for 14 blocks until I reached where Iām living. Planter states that this is an advanced plant. Itās roots are clean and actually thirsty. Iām wondering how long I should leave it as a water-based plant and what problems I would encounter if I were to place it in a pot instead. Ultimately the glass pot with cork will be a forever piece of plant where that Iāll be able to have any plant in. Your thoughts? Should I just leave the Monstera in the water pot? I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and already the amount of sun daily is just too short of a day. Thank you
