Hello! I got this beauty for my birthday and I need some help identifying her, can you help me?
Thai constellation I found at a local nursery for $40 on sale đ„č sheâs already shooting off a new leaf!
Brand new leaf unfurled this weekendđ±
Assuming this is just from the sun, right? :(
Repotted the these just a week ago. But since then itâs not doing great. New leaves are browning. Not sure if I hurt them when repotting. Leaves are droopy. The stems are not strong. Have to use lots of strips to tie them to stand up. You can see the smaller ones on the bottom how bent they are. What might cause this? I have added grow light. Not sure if this is a root rot problem. If so, will repotting within a couple weeks ok for it?
Hey guys. Iâm wondering if these are leaves I should trim off. I have two baby monsteras and they both have a leaf that looks like this.
My first propagation through a rooted pup and it has already produced a new leaf(top right leaf).
This is the first monstera I have ever had and I started it from a cutting, Iâm not really sure what to do with the airial roots that are forming and I am not sure how I should go about adding more support to the plant in general to help it grow upwards more. Any help would be great! đđȘŽ
Bought this plant a while ago and put her in my room. Realizing that this was too dark of a place for her and seeing some brown spots, I moved her to our sun room. I asked for advice on Planta but the inky response I got was, âthe browsing of the leaves happen after timeâ I donât think this is true because of the brand new leaf thatâs coming in. Itâs browning too! Can someone please help me? I canât lose her! I love her too much! TIA and have a great day! âïž
I did it đ
My biggest boy. FYI it got like this due to being exposed to direct full sun.
Advice needed⊠Some background⊠As you can see monstera is out of control. I love him so much and have been doing my research on replanting him. However, my anxiety to start cutting him runs extremely high. I know it needs done. He is trailing the floor. My biggest fear is he will die. I have had him for a couple of years now and never knew he was a climber. This is why he looks this way. He is doing so good. Beautiful leaves, solid base, etc. Should I mess with him? Should I completely cut him up and start over? I also need advice on the whole moss pole, stake option. Which is better? Please help with advice. (The pool noodle is cushioning the stem as it was starting to dig itself into the rim of the pot).
Turned my monstera around for the first time, itâs been growing towards the window for months. It looks so much bigger!
New leaf đ
Does my monstera look healthy? Just looking for any tips in case something looks off. Sheâs also growing new leaves pretty quickly :)
I think I got an absolute STEAL yesterday at a local garden store - I only paid $50 for her! First time monstera owner, so let me know if you any tips!
I cut the browned tips of my monstera, but theyre starting to come back :( anyone know what could be wrong? Is it a sign of root rot? I attached a picture of where shes located. It is a west facing window, but we are very close to our neighbors home, is she not getting enough sunlight?
My first albo
I bought a giant⊠help! So ⊠I went into my local plant shop looking for something else⊠and this was there. I have a loyalty card with them and had ÂŁ30 of points so she only cost ÂŁ50 - how could I say no?! Now sheâs here I feel a bit intimidated. I want to repot her (once sheâs settled) into a very slightly larger terracotta pot and also change out the soil as itâs OK but not the chunky mix that I prefer. Oh, and I donât like coco coir poles so would want to swap that out! Usually Iâd just do this but sheâs an established plant and clearly happy where she is. Should I just leave well enough alone and make changes in Spring as needed? Any thoughts very welcome. I already have a good-sized monstera that Iâve grown from small, and a Thai Con, so I generally know what Iâm doing but her size is making me second-guess myself?!
