My precious monstera is getting a wee bit top heavy and needs a repot… however she has some new growth going on. Am I best to wait or should I crack on? Thank you 🙂
Sorry not a Monstera. Identification help please. This is obviously and Arrowhead Plant but I cannot identify if it’s an original, “White Butterfly” or “Batik”. The leaves match the White Butterfly and Batik but Planta only had one pic of Batik.
first leaf from my monstera albo grown from a single node 🥹
I received my monstera albo cutting (shipped in sphagnum over three days, rooted in water by seller) in the mail today. 🥲 It had root rot, and it extends to the other side of the node. The leaf and stems look okay. I used sterilized clippers to trim the rot and I placed it back in water, I salvaged the node but not the root. Is this my best shot? Any tips at all??? **Cross-posted
Hi everyone 👋 I’ve had my monstera for 2 years now and will be repotting it this weekend. It currently does not have any sort of support in it, but this will be my first time repotting any plant ever. Some tips would be greatly appreciated! Here’s a pic of her for reference
I think my garage sale monstera cutting is growing its first leaf since joining the family! ❤️
I need help! I just bought this monstera and it was labeled as a Thai constellation monstera so I was really excited but now I feel like I might have been fooled because it doesn’t have any specks like other Thai monsteras. Do they usually start of solid green or is this a monstera Deliciosa?
I got this Mini Monstera to save but am not sure where to start. Most leaves have brown spots and the new growth on one stem seems to be already dead. I’m not sure if I should repot right away or give it a break and just make sure it’s watered. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
I was super worried about this rehab plant, but she seems happy 🪴 TWO new leaves unfurling
So I want to give my monstera some extra lighting because I feel it isn’t getting enough. I have a grow light that is blue and red light, would that be okay to use or should I get a white grow light for it? I’m not too sure of the difference of color lighting.
My monstera deliciosa is doing so good! 🪴 Soon I won’t be able to pick her up.
Hello friends! I recently brought home a baby Thai con. Waited about a week to repot. I potted it in my house made soil mix of regular potting soil, orchid bark and perlite. It’s in a 4 inch pot with drainage. I watered it until water came out of the bottom. (It was completely dried out when I repotted) It’s been 8 days and the soil is still wet. It has spent a few days outside on my porch getting some good sun, and the last couple of cloudy days it has been under a grow light. I made sure it wasn’t too compacted in there and broke up the soil a bit. Is this common for this plant? I don’t want to kill this super rare, beautiful plant.
😍 first time out of the house
Twins! 🤩
Two more Monstera to add to the plant family! Thank you IKEA!!!
What’s your go to monstera fertilizer?? 🙏🙏
I finally repotted my plant 😅. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything to the plant. I bought a new pot with multiple holes, put lava rocks at the bottom and added new soil. I know I need to get a trellis because she has a lean to it 😭. I want to keep it outside on my front porch because this is the only space that barely receives any lighting. Would that be ideal? Also, I want to save this little branch however, it doesn’t have roots. Would this also be ideal? (I trimmed all of the dark brown stuff after taking this photo.).
She’s soooo huge 🤯🤯🤯
Just noticed this brown spot on my pretty new Thai constellation monstera. I have it in a similar location as a different standard monstera, so I didn’t think the sun would be too intense. Are the white leaves significantly more brown to sun damage?
