Hey everyone, my monstera popped out its first leaf and I’m wanting to know if it’s supposed to be this light yellow/ white color? I water once every week and a half, use grow lights, humidifier, and the roots were healthy last time I checked. Any suggestions?

I got this as a one leaf cutting last year from a friend. Her entire plant is green; Is this going to give me a random variegated leaf?

How root-bound is too root-bound for monsteras? I repotted only a couple of months ago but I’m not seeing much new growth lately, should I pot up?

Hi All! Looking for some advice, I love how my monstera is thriving she loves this window! I am wondering if it’s normal that she’s leaning forward? I have 1 moss pole as you can see holding up one side but it’s toward the back of the pot. I’m afraid to place another bc I don’t want to damage any roots. Open to suggestions thanks!

Hi all! I just got my first monstera at Home Depot yesterday! A highly variegated Thai Con. I’m so excited because I’ve been wanting a monstera for a bit but wanted the “perfect” one, I’d been waiting for the right one and I finally found it! I’ve done a decent amount of research and I work at a plant store but I love hearing about everyone’s individual experiences and care tips and tricks! Please let me know any advice or knowledge you have to offer :)

Propagated this plant from my larger one less than a year ago. It’s put out two new leaves since then but they’re giant - will it always put out leaves this large? The original leaf is the one with a bit of browning. Slight background: the mother plant I had was originally smaller (until it wasn’t) and is now quite large and is floppy/spread out. I have struggled with my monsteras having giant leaves, but not many of them, so they look very sparse. Although I’ve had mine for 4-5 years I feel like I still know nothing. Thankfully I haven’t killed them, but I want them to thrive

Hey everyone I’m currently growing this Thai constellation and I’ve noticed that two leaves have started to yellow and I don’t know why, all the other leaves are okay I don’t know if it’s a watering issue or a pest issue or a light issue, if anyone could help that would be amazing thank you

Hi everyone! I just got my first Monstera; it’s aged and was in a place where it didn’t receive nearly any sunlight or water, I brought it home, repotted it, trimmed her back, and started weekly watering. The plant is definitely in shock; yellowing leaves, droopy and curling in. I don’t know what to do, I’m so scared im killing her and I’ve never had a monstera before. Can anyone give me advice? The first picture was when I brought her home; before transplanting and trimming her, the second picture is right after trimming her an getting her on a moss pole. Last image is today.

Bought a beautiful mini monstera just under a week ago. Just spotted the route on wide side is furry (posted photo comparison to other). When I touched it, a minuscule orange worm reared its head. Anybody any tips or suggestions to what it could be and whether it’s treatable? Thanks in advance! Jamie (Enthusiastic but definitely a novice!)

Hi all! I recently got a Monstera Deliciosa as a celebrating for graduating my first student from program! I am obsessed with her already. She is sitting about 10-12 feet from my large south facing bay window that gets bright sunlight for 10-14 hours per day. When I got her, she was already bursting her 6in nursery pot at the seams, so I immediately replanted her in this 8in pot with a drainage plate underneath. I live in the Midwest, so sunlight can be very hit or miss. My fav plant store said if you can read a book in the natural light for most of the day, that should be enough for a monstera. My living room blinds are always open, so it’s getting indirect sunlight daily. I do have a grow light that I can supplement the lighting if needed, but I’m really just looking for reassurance on the care. The first picture is this week, the second picture was right after I repotted her!

Hi all! I’m seeking advise on if I should consider pruning my monstera. I have had this one for about a year and she has been growing steadily. I have not repotted her since I got her but she is still growing so I am unsure what to do to ensure that she stays healthy.

Anyone know what’s wrong with this new leaf on my plant? I take good care of it - lots of water good light and mist it for humidity. Not near any hot pipes or anything either which I originally thought about due to the perfect line.

Hello, I’m new here and have had my Monstera’s (Fernando and Emiliano) for about a month. They are growing beautifully and look fine to me but I’m wondering when and if I should repot them. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have 2 Monstera Peru plants that I got at the same time and are about the same size. Each plant is about 7 inches tall-soil to end of stem tall, both in 4 inch pots, both have good roots and each pot has 7 leaves. I was thinking about combing them into one 9” pot? What do y’all think of that idea? Or should I keep them separate? I don’t know if it makes any difference, but they were bought at the same time from same seller. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
