Okay, so now what???? There’s about 6 or 7 stems in this perlite propagation container, don’t really remember exact amount, but I just haven’t touched them for 2-3 months and now they are popping sprouts. Since these photos were taken, another has popped a leaf and one of these is working on a second. It’s happening so quickly. The stems are quite large and thick from a monstera I bought off someone local that didn’t want to deal with it anymore. It was badly root bound and I shocked it to death so tried to save what I could. The single leaf I got off of it is doing great in a mason jar with several roots growing. I just wondered what you all would do next here. Should I open it up and take them out? I don’t want to bother them if I shouldn’t. Obviously they haven’t all sprouted but where it’s happened so quickly it makes me wonder if they’re just right around the corner. So if I need not disturb them then I don’t want to, but if these need to be potted I want to make sure that gets done. Just wondering what yall would do basically. TIA
I recently repotted my monstera (from that small green pot to the white). It DEF NEEDED a deeper pot and more stability. The tallest leaf was reaching straight up before I repotted, and that new leaf was coming out …like backwards? Is something wrong?
What’s wrong with my monstera plant?
look who i finally splurged on😅
Hi all! I found (what I’m assuming is) a baby monstera in an alley about a month ago and she recently put out a new leaf that’s getting so big! Hoping it ✨is✨ a monstera💅🏼
Hey everyone 👋🏼 Just chasing some advice on the distance of my grow light to my thai con. It’s a sansi 36w bulb and is approx 80cm from the tallest leaf. Is this a good distance or should it be closer/further away? Thanks!
Hi all! I’m very new to monsteras. I took this section of my monstera from its mother plant, roots in tack and healthy as far as I’m aware. I It’s sprouting new growth, but I think the leaf in the 3rd picture is about to yellow. I’m seeing a lot more veins and have noticed it’s color loss since repotting. I also notice the stems up top are a little paler compared to the rest of the stem. I fear the mother plant isn’t too hot either as she was treated for pests, and I wanted to try to keep a part of her just in case she didn’t survive. I have a mini monstera that’s doing absolutely phenomenal. Do I take off yellowing leaves if it happens? Any tips on keeping leaves happy? Am I scared of nothing and just slightly attached bc the mother plant is my first monstera? Thank you in advance! 😂❤️
Hey guys! My workplace has a monstera out front but is evidently a bit neglected. Any ideas on simple things I could do to make it look better? It’s not my plant so I can’t repot or do any major changes… I believe it gets watered weekly, we’re in a humid climate and it gets a strong sea breeze sometimes, the plant is undercover but has strong sun on the side close by. It looks like it recently gave a new leaf but is already starting to crisp up :( Thanks!
Does anyone know why my Thai constellation’s leaves keep browning like this? When I first got her my cat chomped her leaves I moved her immediately onto a shelf my cat can’t reach under my grow light. I did repot her as soon as I brought her home and then once again like 2 weeks later. (Which was definitely my bad, she was my first plant and so I was learning as I went) The grow light is on its lowest setting as to not scorch the leaves and is more than 12 inches away from the plant. Only one of the leaves is still in good shape but the rest are looking quite rough. Any help is appreciated! ☺️
Help, I have had a Monstera plant for three years or so and I don’t know what happened but all the leaves are up above and I’ll take a photo it is two plants. I want to take the plants apart, cut them and reroot them and then replant them in a new pot together. Once you see the photo you’ll see that my leaves are way up in the air. I don’t know what happened to my plant, but I don’t like its look. Please give me advice on how to cut them how long to root them in water what is the best water so on and so forth any advice would be greatly appreciated
I’m at my wits end with my monstera. She has moss poles, a humidifier, but she hasn’t produced a new leaf in at least 5 months. Any advice on what to do differently to make her happy would be much appreciated
My monstera had Thrips, it’s been a couple of months with me dealing with it and using a homemade neem oil solution, and I’m happy to say that I have not seen any pests on her and this new leaf opened up with no sign of thrips! It’s been a journey and she’s still on her way to 100% health but I had to Share because I almost gave up and I’m so happy I saved her ! ♥️♥️🥰🥰
Finally got the courage to repot my little Thai. He's been giving me a new leaf each month so I didn't want to mess with it. Safe to say it really needed the upgrade 😅
How do I save this plant? My cat bit into the stems of this Thai Monstera and I didn’t notice the other stems that was coming out, how do I remedy this plant so it’s not gonna die?
The roots are growing up and out of the pot?? 😅
Sorry guys I know this doesn’t pertain to actual plant care but I need help identifying which one of these is a monstera Thai con. I personally think it’s option 1 but Amazon has them listed all wrong so I wanted some expert opinions before I purchased :)
Hi, I have these two gorgeous mini monsteras that I got in the same pot. Hoping to repot them separately but I don’t want to separate them wrong and accidentally kill them. Any tips?? Also, I have a new leaf unfurling, should I wait until it has unfurled before repotting?
my little monstera tissue cultures are finally starting to grow up 🥹 (Feb 26➡️today)
Hi everyone! I wanted some opinions on my baby and see if she is doing okay. I also wanted to know where should I insert a climbing stick because I cannot tell. Please help!
