Hi, can anyone tell me what’s going on with my Monstera. It looked like it was sprouting a new leaf but it came out like this. No leaf just a stem. I’ve never had this before.

Hi friends, Long story short I purchased this monstera albo on Etsy over a year ago. She started to get some rot on the stem where she was cut while in the soil and I removed the soil and she has been living in water for almost a year. I was told by my local plant store that there was no hope for new leaves or growth because of how she was cut by the original owner, but now she has a little something sprouting up. Is this a new leaf or a node? Should I pot her in some soil? Any suggestions would be great.

Hello all!! My aunt gifted me this monstera, I love my plant so much! When I got her home, it was infected with mists, I re-potted and it was better. From the past 3 days, I started seeing the leaves changing its color to yellow. Its the new baby leaves which is changing. I don’t know what’s the issue. Please help me!! Thank you in advance!!

Helpp!! My monstera albo has browning tip and it keeps extending im afraid its gonna go progress its the only brown tip in the whole plant. What should i do ? I water every 2 weeks making sure the top soil is dry i measure it with a soil tester and it gets 12 hours of grow light 💡 only thing i dint have is a humidifier and I dont fertilize often bc im they dont suggest it in winter months

Meet Desdemona. I brought her home to live with us early last week. It seems a repotting is in order. Is it advisable to place her in a size up nursery pot - current pot is 6” - or is there any reason I shouldn’t make her new home directly in this 8” ceramic pot with a drainage hole in the center?

The photo in the black pot was my monstera last year before the thrips attacked. We successfully got rid of the thrips but she’s not as full as she was before 🙁 I’ve already taken some top cuttings to propagate but I’m really thinking of cutting her all the way back, propagating the rest of the stems and creating a fuller plants again. Anyone cut their monstera all the way back before?

I’ve had this Monstera for about 5 months now, I bought it with some broken leaves and I never knew what to do with them. Now it’s like half this plant is thriving and the other half is waiting on me to do something. So what do I do?! I figure I probably need to cut the stems with broken leaves but I don’t want to damage the plant. Is there a certain way I need to do this?

What are your thoughts on using 50% miracle grow tropical mix and 50 % miracle grow cactus potting mix for my monstera?

Anyone know why the leaves might be curling?? I use a hydrometer and water when it’s dry. It’s about 9 feet from an east facing window in Chicago. There’s a humidifier in the room. Also there IS a grow light under the mantle/shelf so the bottom part of the plant is exposed to that during the day. I also noticed that some of the leaves are starting to sweat. Help!
