Fenestration Station!! This is my first and only monstera child, well technically theyâre step brothers that make up one potted plant. Started him from two different single-leaf propagations gifted from friends about a year ago. Heâs been growing steadily but only in the last few months did I start seeing fenestrations - so exciting! So far 3 leaves have got them, 1st one was just 4 fenestrations, next was 5, and a third one just revealed himself after some trauma last week. During repot day we had a wrestling match as I tried to get the two set perfectly opposite one another with spines aligned against the pole. I won in the end but, the new leaf that hadnât unfurled yet took some bruises. I was worried I might lose it between the beating and repot shock. BUT this baby emerged with EIGHT fenestrations!!! Feeling proud đ„č (of him, not me lol)
Help! I bought this baby 1-2 weeks ago and it had slight browning that has just got worse. What is wrong and what should I do to save it?
Just found a Spiderman Monstera for a steal at my local nursery
This plant was once thriving and I havenât changed anything about its care routine or location, any ideas what it needs to perk back up?
Another plant ticked off my wish list. Monstera Bulbasaur đđ€©
Two new leaves coming in on my baby âšđđȘŽ
New to the plant world just wanted to find out if this is normal. Iâm worried that it might not be getting enough nutrients. Not sure I would appreciate any help.
Hello! I just got this monstera adansonii and was wondering if I should transfer it to soil? I read that they can grow in water but I don't want to shock the roots by repotting it into soil. I'm so in love with her and want to give her the best!
New leaf alert đ I got a âmint monsteraâ from work a couple months ago and hereâs her first new leaf! (Thai con photobomb on the left đ€Ł)
Recently just bought a Monstera Deliciosa or thatâs what Iâm assuming it is. I have a grow light on her because Iâd like for her to be in the corner of my office when fully grown down the road as an eye catching piece as you come in. Any tips. Tricks. Is the grow light to dim or bright or to close. Sheâs my very first Monstera so anything and everything would be helpful. She does have a cut on her leaf and slight dark spots when I got her
my newest leaves are so big and it gives me immense joy
Snagged this from Walmart today for $20!! Canât wait to make her grow big & beautiful â„ïž
New leafâŠso I noticed when I mist Rasputia a few dark spots appear on the new leaf anyone know why?? Also when should I get a moss pole for her ?
Hadnât checked on my biggest plant in a while as sheâs tucked away in the spare room, but sheâs finally pushing out a new leaf!! And a bunch of new aerial roots Iâm so excited!! Ignore the chopped leaves they were white parts that turned brown lol
Brand new here, and honestly new to plants in general. I have two thai constellations as well as a monkey mask, im doing fully hydroponics with air stones to ensure the roots get plenty of air and add fertilizer to every water change. Ive had two of them in this set up for about 2 months with some new growth. The other is a newer addition within this last month. I would love to see other monsteras in a similar set up!!!
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me, is this too much of a grab on the stem holding it to my stake? It's really starting to lean forward without that. The second picture is what's happening without tying it up. Thank you in advance đ
Hi Everyone! Iâm looking to buy a monstera plant that has the ability to grow at least 6-8ft. I donât mind it starting off small, just need some guidance and where to buy/ what to buy. Thanks!!
