In need of some professional Monsty Mothers/Papas. My Monstera Deliciosa has a very bushy undergrowth area and I’m worried it’s not allowing him to thrive up in the air as much l as I would want from him. Will this be the case, I don’t see many others looking as bushy as mine and I really want him to grow another big leaf as he hasn’t yet since I got him.
His name is Monty
He’s in a 25cm plastic drainage pot with regular potting mix (got some bark and perlite on order to upgrade him to a more airy mix when next repot)
Desperately under qualified for a Monstera but can’t hate a tryer!

My 2nd leaf in 2 months for my Thai con - cant wait to see the variegation on it! Seems my Gloriosum is pushing out a leaf at the exact same time!

For the second time, my adosonaii got root rot. I chopped again and put the survivors in water. I got this plant in March from a Tampa nursery for a decent price as far as nurseries go. Now it's down to this. At one point, it was over a foot tall. But Im glad I didn't lose the entire plant.

Does my girl have 3 “separate” plants? I’m repotting her and staking her so I want to make sure I find her back currently 🥹

Hey everyone I’m back again lol so when I got my Thai constellation it already had the leaf out and just needing to be unraveled. Is what I circled in the purple new ones popping out ? What’s the difference between the ones that grow out the soil rather than attached ?

I have two new leaves but one is deformed:( Did I do something wrong? Should I leave it or chop it?

Should I cut back this leggy baby? She’s been doing amazing the last few months, so many knew leaves but she’s so leggy from before I had her and where i trimmed some older/smaller/unhealthy leaves. Do I just need better support to make her look better? I’m scared to chop her. Is it just an aesthetic choice or would chopping her possibly help her? Idk i probably should leave her alone if she’s doing great but I’d love thoughts from more seasoned Monstera parents!

I’m a new monstera momma as of today. Me and my Auntie go to our first babies together! Do all of her leaves look okay?Do I need to cut any of them off to allow new leaves?
Also do new leaves that haven’t gotten holes yet tend to be very soft and thin? And curly? Thanks guys!! I just want her to thrive!!

I think maybe this is due to overwatering (it’s on the covered front porch but might be close enough to the edge to where it gets rain and it rains basically every day in Florida), but can anyone help confirm why they think the stems and base are starting to yellow? None of the leaves really seem to be turning (yet). It otherwise seems healthy, though I have been battling mealy bugs for over a year now (they seem to be more under control in the last month or two, using alcohol soaked cotton pads and Fertilome).

My monstera Swiss cheese plant is growing well but seems to be tilting to the side. Should I add some type of support in the pot?

UPDATE: So I checked out my new monstera plant(s) and I actually think it was 6 monstera plants in different stages in the same pot. I potted them all separately, so I’ll see how they do! I found some knitting needles to prop them up. I will try to find new homes for most of them once I make sure they are healthy.
Meet the cast of The Three Musketeers - D’Artagnan, Aramis, Athos, Milady, Constance and Planchet! You might be asking where’s Porthos? That is my Pothos plant.

I have been watching videos about caring for monstera plants since acquiring one on Friday. I suspect now that mine is actually two or three in the same pot. Would anyone be willing to look at these pics and let me know what you think?
The videos I’ve watched spoke of splitting them up. In ordered a trellis for it, but if it is two do you think I should repot and separate?

My two monsteras in 5” pots were looking leggy so now I have one big pot and all the leggy is buried underneath because that’s no one’s business anyway 😂

How long does it typically take a monstera leaf to unfurl? I have one on my new plant, D'Artagnan, and I’m so excited! It is fenestrated!
OK I said I wasn’t going to get anymore plants but I just ordered a Thai constellation monstera so this will definitely be the last one lol. I am just enjoying my monstera so much I decided I need another. (ALSO: I also definitely don’t need another and have no idea where to put it lol)
