Hi plant parents
I tried to propagate my monstera 2 weeks ago and today I saw these tiny roots on the aerial roots but all the videos I saw they have roots on the stems or node (I don’t know what we call it) and it doesn’t have any roots on the stem or node. Is it normal? Is it good? Is there anything I should do?

Controversial Question: Do you rotate any of your monsteras? Why or why not?

I just picked up this from Costco. Its leaves seemed so green! It appears to be TWO plants in the pot, on opposite sides of each other. The nursery pot is starting to get an oval shape (and the thicker plastic outer pot also is forced to take the shape when it’s in it).
As soon as I got home, I watered it in the tub as it was VERY dry. Letting it drain now for a while before I put it back in.
Being a first timer here, what do I do with this plant? Should I separate into two unique plants altogether? How long do I wait to do that? What is the best soil mix? So many questions! Hoping someone out there can give me some advice of what to do to ensure it is cared for.

Beginner plant mama needing some help! Found this beauty at Home Depot tucked away with one leaf in rough condition. I decided it was my responsibility to take her home and see if I can’t get her to flourish. I am needing all the tip and tricks on Thai Constellation Monsteras and how to get the one leaf back on track!!

Hi everyone!
I have a monstera prop in water. Some roots have formed but it noticed just now that it looks like this. I’ve never seen that happen. I changed the water about 5 days ago. It doesn’t smell like rot and it’s not squishy. The black part is still firm. What should I do?

Advice needed. A friend of my fiancé was decommissioning a building of IT equipment and rescued this abandoned monster of a plant. I’m WAY in over my head. I cut all the dead leaves off but don’t know where to go from here. I need advice on everything from repotting (soil, pot size etc) to long term growth, sunlight, how to help this thing climb, propagation. You name it. My fiancé wants to throw it out but my heart can’t. Please help, thank you

I currently have a cheap “moss” pole for my monstera. However I don’t think it’s something the aerial roots can grow into. I’ve seen the ones you can buy and fill with moss or whatever that the aerial roots grow into. I’ve also just seen some people use a nice sturdy trellis. Mine is just starting to grow one of its first aerial roots since I supported it. I’d like to figure out the best approach before it gets too big to change easily. I was misting this moss pole and the brown spot above the node appeared. Please any advice will help! Thank you:)

Only recently found out that monstera leaves are supposed to face one direction 😅
Is there any way I can get it to “reset” and face one way? It’s a little hard for me to find where to put the support now because the leaves are facing in different directions but it clearly needs a bigger pole than what I have right now…

I’ve noticed that my Thai Constellation has been dripping water from its leaves..my Deliciosa has never done this. Is this a good thing? Or bad?

hello! my monstera adansonii has very recently started struggling with this yellowing, which seems to also be discolouring the plants stem. i don’t think this is overwatering- if anything, i’ve been watering less than usual- but as a newbie to plants, i’m struggling to work out what the issue is. its current spot is in my bedroom window, so it’s receiving a good amount of sunlight. i intend on attaching it to some sort of pole soon to keep it stable but don’t want to do that if it’ll stress the plant more. please help!!

I found a Thai Constellation today! I’m so excited! I still need to get some support for it, any other suggestions for this plant? I’ve only had a Monstera Deliciosa and it’s definitely been a work in progress with figuring out that one.. 😵💫

I had originally ordered a Rhaphidophora decursiva (Dragons Tail) from Rare Plant Fairy, since I wanted to expand my collection with a little pricey plant. They accidentally sold it on me through the chaos of the holidays but were kind enough to give me $35 credit on top of the money I already had spent, soo….
I got a Raphidophora Tetrasperma Albo Variegated! I was a little nervous at first because a lot of the mature leaves have been trimmed, a lot, but it came already in the process of uncurling a new leaf! Hopefully it acclimates quickly with its new soil and environment! I’ll post updates😁
