Ok. I did it. I gave my baby a little trim. 😬When I heard the loppers go through the stem I actually started to cry. That sound is so awful! I regretted it the minute I did it. I just hope my baby survives her trim. Help put my mind at ease please 🙏🏼

I’m also super proud of this baby! Yet to be named. They were a COSTCO find and tbh i don’t remember how much bc i was having a bad day and my partner was like we’re getting this for you 😅 get you someone who will buy you plants when ur sad Anyways, they were labeled as an Albo but in researching i think they may be a TC. Thoughts? They have put out 2 new leaves since i got them and the 2nd photo is their newest with good variegation and a lovely inner fenestration!
I am so proud of myself and my babies! This is Mabel, my first Monstera who I got off facebook marketplace several months ago. She was already struggling, and my own mental health made it hard for me to rehab her. I finally started to care better for her about 2 months ago. She is 2 plants and I had intentions of separating them when I repotted but as a novice i was daunted at the task. I made the mistake of not doing research and just repotting her in regular potting mix like her previous owner had. It also turned out she was too heavy for the new plastic pot i put her in. So another repotting with my own blend of 50% coco coir, 25% perlite, 25% soil and in a beautiful terracotta pot, she is beginning to thrive. 3 new leaves since this new pot and one of them has grown so much in just a few days! Thanks for reading our saga lol any tips for encouraging fenestration if that’s a thing pls lmk! She is in a S facing mostly unobstructed picture window.

My baby continues to grow… She is pressing on the window at this point. I know I’m not supposed to turn her but if I don’t how do I get her to stop pressing against the window lol. I don’t really want to chop her. Please advise 🙏🏼

Today I bought a monstera plant (monstera adansonii). The tag says small stature variety, does this mean it will not grow much bigger? Also, can someone explain why monstera plants sometimes have different leaves? Some leaves are complete and others have slits and mine have holes
This new lead my monstera is pushing out has brown spots on it. It also pushed out another leaf with no brown spots- I recently moved my monstera from monstera from my covered patio to back inside my room. I live in Texas so we have a lot of humidity. Could the brown areas be an indication that it needs more humidity?

just repotted my baby, which has been growing alright but had a little bit of root rot (hopefully i got rid of it all) there are four plants in the pot though, and i’m wondering if that will be an issue. i’ve had this monstera for a few months now & it hasn’t really been a problem - at least i don’t think. any advice?
Rescued this baby monstera from Home Depot. It had a developing leaf that was unfurling but browning… now it’s repotted and unfurled… wondering if I should prune it? Thoughts?
