My Thai Con âMavisâ đ
I saved this lady (aka big mama) from Walmart, and sheâs giving me new leaves! I canât wait to see them undone!
Can anyone please tell me when I should be repotting my monstera? I know they like to be root bound and sheâs been growing really well, but sheâs starting to dry out a little faster than before. I donât want to sacrifice her beautiful leaf growth and Iâm not sure when to make the move.
Itâs happening!!!!! After much much MUCH patience, Elphaba is finally putting out a new leaf!
Does anybody have a Monstera OblĂqua? Send pics
My Thai Constellation has recently had black patches appear on the leafs. Iâve had it for almost three weeks and it appeared last week. Itâs kept indoors and have been following the care guide from the Planta App. Any help is much appreciated :)
Look at this Thai constellation monstera that arrived today from BWH. I only paid $25 for it because I had shop cash and it was on sale. I think his name is Aramis. He has a new leaf that will open soon! I was going to use a treleaf trellis that I have to support him. I tried to set it up today but I think his roots are so dense that I canât get it into the soil. I donât want to repot yet so he can first adjust to his new home. Should I wait until I repot him so that I donât accidentally damage any roots?
Just got this Thai Constellation Monstera from meijer.. every plant Iâve got from them, the soil is like wet spongy kinetic sand. I havenât repotted it yet into my chunky soil mix (coco coir chips, perlite, orchid bark + tropic. Potting soil), but This new leaf was coming out when I got it & now it looks like this :// Itâs in a self watering pot and the soil has been wet. Iâve had it for about 3ish weeks now & I usually repot at 2 weeks. Should I repot, is this from overwatering?
IMO Monsteras are the best statement/furniture plants for a home âš
Iâve had this Thai constellation for quite a few months and itâs only put out one leaf. Itâs also growing what I assume is a root. Should I just let it do its thing or is this a sign that it needs something and is seeking it out?
I have had my mini monstera (shes called munch!) for a few years now (i absolutely adore her and always have done, my first plant ive cared for!) but i feel like she almost looks a bit sparse/empty? Is this normal for this type or do i need to do something more for her? Many thanks in advance!!
Just a mess đ€Łđ€Łđ
Can anyone help me find the reason the leaves are yellowing and drooping? She was a gift from a friend and she wasnât doing too well in the soil so I checked the roots and omg BAD root rot so I thought putting them in water for a couple months might help. But the leaves on this one looks like itâs not doing too good? Iâve fertilized, washed and wiped the leaves. Sheâs in my bright kitchen which is humid and it seems to be a perfect room for my other monsteras. What else can I do to make her happy? Any help would really be appreciated! Oh I also had to cut her new leave off because my funny Little Dipper thought it was a snack so hopefully sheâll start healing and rooting..
I have my young monstera plants in small pots because I wanted them to be appropriate to the root size. I watched several YouTube videos before repotting and didnât want to go too big. My concern is that they are pretty top heavy and could easily tip over. The pots are light plastic with good drainage. Do you have any suggestions for how to keep them upright? I had the thought of maybe putting 2-3 rocks on top of the soil to add weight? Would that be bad for them? Maybe I need to buy 2nd pots that are heavier to put the pots in?
Hey guys! I was informed that this plant of mine might not be a monstera⊠Iâm very new to plants and want some opinions! Is it a monstera? A philodendron? Let me know!
So thankful for your beauty!!
Hey I just got a monstera propagation is the little bit of brown okay?thanks!
I recently (bout a month ago) moved this poor guy from water to tropical soil. Heâs clearly not doing well. I checked for pests and the pot has drainage. Whatâs wrong??? How do I fix him?
She is very outdoorsy đ
