Hey Iâm a bit worried about my Monstera Sophie, itâs actually been a while since she grew any new leaves. And these two bottom leaves have been a bit yellowy for a while too. Any ideas on what I should do?

New monstera momma! Got this beauty on Sunday, Iâve always wanted one! But Iâm so afraid Iâll kill it. Iâve killed a ZZPlant đ. I just repot this today, roots were growing out the drainage holes, cleaned up the roots a little and all that, gave her some water. Question is, these leaves, will they perk up if everything goes well? It had a yellow leaf when I bought it, and it wasnât super dry, so Iâm hoping what I did will be enough that if it survives the root shock theyâll perk up. The rest look fine. Any tips would be awesome!
I purchased my first monstera today! So glad I found this group, Iâll need the guidance. Iâd like to know what to use for fertilizer for the monstera? I have lots of questions but plan to be here reading often.
So I recently got a monstera plant from Home Depot. Itâs my first so Iâm learning how to take care of them as I go. Iâve noticed some of the leaves are turning brown and crispy. What can I do to stop this from happening? I watered it while the dirt was almost completely dry. I havenât repotted it yet, and itâs in my kitchen close to the window so it gets partial sunlight.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get monstera leaves to grow in the colder months?
i recently repotted this into soil from propagating in moss, itâs still droopy, should i wait a bit more for it to get rigid? or what should i do
So, this is Fran. I have had her for 4 years and she typically does pretty well for me. But, I took apart the 5 plants in the pot about a month ago as she was getting super leggy and leaves twisting/small leaves. So I took 5 apart and these three together in this pot in hopes she will grow forward. I have a grow light and I just moved her in front of the window tonight so she has grow light and window. But, any help would be appreciated!
this is the second thai con i've had (first one died to root rot). time to try it again!! im wondering if i should wait to repot, or do that now, as the soil feels pretty wet and i think its in an *alright* mix for a monsterra. i also want to put a grow light in my bathroom for the plants in here, but im not sure where to put it - suggestions are welcome!! ~ TIA
Rehab Help! Hey yall! I received a monstera for free as a rehab and itâs struggling a bit more than I thought. It was originally in soil and I transitioned it to water like a month ago. Iâm getting some new roots but nothing is looking any better. Should I just keep letting it do its thing like this or would a different approach be more successful? TIA!
I bought this Adansonii pretty early on in my plant journey before I knew enough to keep her happy. It was pretty hairy for a few months đ but I seem to have found her favorite spot in my house and sheâs already rewarded me with three new leaves â€ïž
The three newest leaves on my monstera are crowding and causing damage to each other. Thereâs no separating them really, since the stalks are so close together. How would you go about fixing this? Also, is it normal that the older stalks are so spread out but itâs suddenly growing in very tight?
I recently heard online that if you put your monsteras aerial roots in little pots of water then it promotes new growth. Anyone tried this or have any good results from doing this? Thank you!
Things I know about my monstera - I used the wrong soil mixture and I do need to repot it because it is staying wet for days and days. I also know that is likely stunting its growth and potentially why the leaves are so wilty. I was planning on waiting to repot it this spring, but this yellow leaf started barely yellow and now itâs all yellow. Iâm located in Ohio where itâs still super cold, but Iâm thinking I need to repot sooner rather than later - thoughts? (In the couple years Iâve had it in this pot/soil combo it has still grown a few new leaves). Also - do I just leave this yellow leaf or prune it?
Fertilized my Monstera about a month ago and I am starting to see a few little nodes like this appear. Does anyone know what these are? And are they good or bad? Any care advice for a monstera in the spring would be appreciated as well!
Picked up another monstera since my first one was a fail đ€ŠđŒââïž so far this lady has unfurled 2 leaves since coming home!
AAAHHHHH đđđđđđ, she unfurling a new beautiful leaf đđđđâ€ïž
My last repot was 23 days ago! đ€Ł Deliciosas are just wild lol

Hey cuties! This is my swiss cheese monstera! I was wondering if I can cut leaves and replant them?? I donât have room to repot it in a bigger pot.. so can I cut some and put it in smaller pots???
My poor Monstera just stays in this permanently wilted phase. Leaves are curling underneath themselves. It is by big windows but in my location in Oregon we get very little direct light during this time of the year - just diffused light. I have a humidifier going at 52% and I still canât figure out whatâs wrong. Any advice? What do you guys do light wise; humidity wise, watering wise?
