HELP!!! My monstera i treated for root rot a week ago, welp IT CAME BACK. Now im switching her to water pot she made me angy
I got this albo monstera a year ago in November. It hasn’t put out any new leaves, and within the last month began losing its color and lost a whole leaf. It was expensive and I don’t want it to die. Help! Please!
I’m tempted to buy a little monstera to pot in with this to fill it out a bit. Is that a stupid idea?
Hey! Have a 1-2 yr old monstera, has extreme leaf changes. I believe it’s from watering issues. Pls help!! x
Hi, This beauty was given to me!! I know 😳…Nice gift! Poor thing was a bit of a tangled mess and I repotted her with a coconut coir stake, however the stake/pole is actually three pieces that are sold to fit together. The three pieces never fit well and it’s collapsing under the weight of her growth. My challenge is that I’m not in love with the common stake options, like the moss filled plastic grid poles. I’m wondering if anyone has utilized something a little different or unique that might be a bit more sturdy, decorative, or much less noticeable? In addition, because she was allowed to grow wildly, her branches were already firm and in downward or right angles. I did some initial trimming, but I’m wondering if I’d be better off trimming her way back when I replace the pole so that I can better train her new branches to incircle the new support. She’s slowly pulling this (lame) segmented coir pole over. All ideas welcome. Thank you 🪴
Hello from Monsty 🪴
Miss Lola just being beautiful this morning.
Hello! (Me again) I’ve been wondering if I should repot my other monstera.
Just wondering if I should re-pot this monstera I’ve had for 4 weeks now, the soils is just below the ring lines on the pot and has one drainage hole at the bottom, I put it in this pot around a week-ish or two ago and just moved so it’s a bit stressed. Also it’s only grown and unfurled one leaf during this time, is that normal? (Also I used the Xbox controller as a universal measurement 😂)
This plant of mine and I are going to drive you all crazy. Here is my question of the day. When I brought this monstera home, it was 2 plants planted in opposite directions. It drove me nuts. I seperated the 2 in the pot. Both are doing well but I have a feeling not to their full potential. Getting 2 main stems to site correctly is a challenge. lol ... The pot is large, the soil fills half of the depth. Since I separated the plants, a lot of work is happening under the soil as far as root system repair and growth, plus she ( or they ) are giving me new growth on top and that I think is why the plant isn't looking 110% With all of that being said- would it be smart to put these 2 in separate smaller pots and maybe put them back together later, like after winter? Am I just overthinking all of this? Maybe just keep them together but go down in pot size to allow root growth... What would you do if you want a BIG and healthy monstera for years and years to come?
Hi everyone, I bought this baby monstera (Freddie) a few months back from petco believe it or not, and after changing out his water this week I realized his roots were a lot darker and wanted to know if it was root rot. I was looking to transfer him into soil soon hopefully even this weekend but I’m unsure what to do if it is root rot. Any suggestions/ideas would help tremendously!
My “beauty” monstera🥰
Just noticed these teeny tiny white bug things crawling around in the soil of my mini monsters. Those tiny white specks on the plant and just at the base in the soil are them. Is that bad? The plant seems healthy but if they’re a problem, I don’t wanna let them stick around. What should I do?
Just got a new baby 🪴 Any care advice? Or any tips on how to make it climb a certain way?
