I bought this monstera from Loweâs I believe and lately some leaves have been getting these yellow brown spots. I havenât reported yet, I will soon considering the roots are slightly root bound, but wasnât as bad as my other monstera. She has developed 2 new leaves, one was damaged in the process of getting her home (BUT STILL THRIVING AND HOLDING ON) đ„č and the other one is still fresh and unfurling. I water her in the shower just to make sure she gets enough water and let her drain fully. Both my monsteras are placed in the window, not sure if that could be the problem, itâs a north facing window. No pest that Iâm aware of, I check regularly.

hi ! I recently repoted my monstera because it had roots coming out of the drainage holes in the last pot it was in. iâm scared that this pot might be too big, but it has been almost two weeks and I havenât faced any problems yet. I donât have the pot filled all the way with soil, so iâm hoping that helps with the size of the pot. should I move it to something smaller ?

Is it possible / can I stop my monsterra growing any taller, and just to grow thicker?!
I donât want to replace the moss pole, just looking for tips and advice on how I can achieve that!!

My monstera seems to have gotten some disease and all new leaves are getting this black spot. Any idea if this plant can be saved?

Is this a root or a leaf growing? I had it under water but got nervous that it was a leaf growing and I didnât want it to rot.

My monstera is currently supported by a coir pole. Should I swap it to a moss pole? The aerial roots are starting to grow into the coir, but they wonât get any moisture from that, which makes me think I should swap to moss.

Monstera is going a little crazy. She must be growing. Her main branch is loosely tied to her pole and thereâs an extra one there that isnât really being used.. my question is, the stalk under the new leaf is sort of wild and looks heavy. Should I tie those up on her current moss pole as well?

These are the last 3 leaves my monsteraâs put out.
She was given to me around a year ago propagated & has been living in water ever since.
Until a month or so ago, sheâs stayed inside (part sun/temp ranging from 68-75 degrees) in or next to a window where sheâs lost 1 leaf & given me 2 (1 split & 1 very small/unhealthy).
Sheâs now on my enclosed porch (full sun/temp ranging 70-100 degrees) & just last week I noticed the most recent leaf was unfolding.
Does she need to be repotted into dirt? Has anybody had success with letting their monstera live in water longterm?

Hello Monstera parents! When I got mine, the leaf on the right was brown and looks burnt. The others are all rich green and the plant is happy- recently got a new leaf. Is there anything I can do to revive this leaf or should I remove it? Thanks!

i have been wanting a swiss cheese plant for months and just found this beautiful guy at home depot for UNDER $20!!! thereâs only one leaf with brown spots on it and the rest seems to be in perfect condition⊠i saw other ones this size online for $50+! i need to repot him but wasnât sure what type of soil to use⊠any tips?

Hey everyone!! So I just got this Monstera a few weeks ago (his name is Deli!). Does he need to be put into a bigger pot already?
Today when I was doing progress photo updates, I saw that it looks like he has roots coming out of the top of the soil, but not the bottom of the pot.

Iâm being super cautious with watering. Sheâs in indirect bright light, supplemental grow light and humidifier.. Iâm thinking itâs time to water. Meter is at about 4.. is my guess correct?
