Thank you to everyone for your advice. I repotted into smaller pots and tied them to the poles until they can establish arial roots so here are the before and after pictures. The poles are expandable so once they start growing up the poles I can make them taller. Here are the before and after pictures. Side note: the one on the stool has unfurled two new leaves in the last 22 days and it’s got another two leaves that are coming in so I’m so proud of this plant. The other one was a rescue that I had to remove a ton of dead leaves from and it’s given me five new leaves (four of which have double fenestrations). I cannot wait to see what they do now that they’re in the correct pot sizes with poles.

Thanks to all who advised on the leaf issues this was having… wondering if it’s definitely time to repot. She’s copping a major lean and roots are coming out of the nursery pot.
Another new leaf incoming! I think I’m going to get my wish of 4 great big new leaves this growing season 🤞 these photos are all taken ~12 hours apart — it’s awesome how fast it happens
Hi plant people! Question for you. I just watered my monstera yesterday and noticed water dripping out of the leaves. Is this okay? Is it normal? I’m worried i might be watering it too much
So my two monstera were not doing the best. Super leggy and just not happy. I have cut them and have been water propagating them for a few weeks now. Any tips on moving it back over to soil?
So I recently repotted my large monstera and the stem of the plant is leaning on the pot and I noticed there was a brown spot on the stem and I’m just wondering if I should be concerned, I can’t get a pic but it looks like a bruise kind of, is that normal??
Ok I’m very confused…I bought this beautiful plant and there was a separate plant in it that looks like a monstera but the other part doesn’t look like one. The app is saying they both are but idk if I believe it. Can anyone confirm/deny???
Okay plant friends. I need some advice. I got this guy 3 years ago as a baby from Etsy and it has grown so so much. The leaves have started turning black some and there’s these brown steps that are growing out of it. The climbing pole has helped some but it looks all weird. Why?! Any thoughts and advice would be great
Just got this monstera for $14 at Lowe’s bc of some of the issues pictured here! Any idea what’s going on w the unhealthy leaves? Any advice? Thanks!!
that new leaf feeling 🤩
So about a year ago I was at Home Depot and I bought a monster us Swiss cheese once I brought it home it didn’t grow so I cut it apart and now I have three different cuttings. One of the cuttings is growing. A new leaf is amazing.
Well, Thrips got the best of my two Thai Constellations. 😭 I decided to completely chop them and repot. Their roots looked really good, so I have hope. 🤞🏼 they come back bigger and better.
I just bought these for my monsteras and they should in tomorrow. However, I’ve never given any of my plants any kind of pole or trellis so any advice on how to do it would be great! Also, the smaller monstera has some browning leaves. I’m fairly sure both of my pots are too large. However, my husband doesn’t think I should repot them again. What do you think? Should I repot them before adding the poles or leave them as is and add the poles? I don’t want to shock them too much but all of the brown spots are making me nervous. Note: it’s been 23 days since I repotted them and they’re both producing smaller leaves, slight brown spots, and my new growth isn’t unfurling all the way and it’s smaller
Super proud of Frank! From where we started to today. You can see the leaf from the first pic at the bottom of the second.
A monstera leaf on the MASSIVE plant at our local plant nursery. Can we talk about it?? 😍
I need help deciding which Monstera Albo to choose! I’m about to purchase a Monstera Albo from a local grower, but I’m not sure which one would be the best investment. I’m partial to the first one because the grower mentioned that it’s one of his fav, but the second one looks beautiful as well and I’m torn. Idk lmk which one you would choose! 💚🤍🪴
Hi, im new to owning plants and i bought this one today but its roots are already growing out of the plastic pot. I’m not sure what to do, should i wait. The plant is a Monstera Obliqua ‘monkey leaf’.
Ok I got a moss pole, but I don’t know how to start princess Penelope on it. Do I stick it in the middle? Do I stick it in the back? Do I tire to it? Do I just get it close? I need help!
Does anyone have the Monstera standleyana albo? My Walmart has tons of them. When I look it up on Planta it says it’s hard to care for and needs high humidity. How are they?
Hi all! I’ve had this monstera for 3-4 months and it had been doing great until it went an extra 2 days longer than usual without water. There are plenty of new leaf shoots but one of the new leaves browned before unfurling and another’s stem bent. The plant overall is drooping a bit more now too. I’m not sure if it is just getting too heavy or if something else is going on? It has also been fairly hot in the apartment as well. Top photo is a reference before these issues started!
