Hi! I’m considering getting a moss pole for my monstera and I was wondering if you have to change the moss (if so how often do you change it?) and is it easy to train it to grow on the pole?

Hey all! This is my first ever monstera and I wanted to ask a couple questions. For starters I have a moss pole on the way and I know to put it on the back of the plant but I was wondering if anyone knows if this is 1 or 2 plants as I can't really tell. Will this need trimming and such?

Follow up on my previous post, does anyone have any recommendations for grow lights and how long I should leave them on?

So proud of these babes! I won some monsteras at a charity fundraiser less than a year ago. At that time I never had house plants in my life and my entire family thought I would kill them. I got the planta app right away and they flourished. Before and after pics!

Hii! So my monstera has been though it the past while, she’s leggy and her leaves are small and facing every which way. The 2nd pic shows how far she is from my windows which are facing northwest. How should I best increase leaf size/fenestrations and make her fuller. Btw I repotted her a couple months ago. Should I propagate, get a grow light, change watering schedule, etc. thanks so much!

Hey guys! My monstera, has not grown much in the last many months since I bought it. I got it repotted today because the roots were in a bad shape. But do you think this is enough light? I’ve placed it in a corner next to the window but there is no direct light? Wondering if this is not enough light?

My monstera used to be so healthy, now not so much 😞 I have so many questions I don’t know where to start. Can someone please give advice on how to save it? I’ve used Dr. Planta and searched things left and right, I’m worried it will not survive. 😭 Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mr Monty has another new leaf coming in and it looks like a good one. 🤩 I can already tell it has as least one feneistration split.

I know monsteras can only withstand 60 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter (and that’s already pushing it) but in Las Vegas, our winters get well below 40 degrees on some days. I’ve been keeping my monsteras by the window all summer, I’m afraid they’ll get really sad if they sit that close to the window sill during the winter when the cold penetrates through. Is it better to move it to a warmer area of my apartment and just use grow lights?

Any ideas what to do with this? Six leaves on one stem. It started out as one and just keeps growing more and more leaves on the one stem but it’s so too heavy it can’t stand on its own at all. There are a couple aerial roots. Should I chop and prop? And if so where should I chop it at?

My new monstera leaves are the biggest I’ve seen 😍😍 but they’re so close to each other they are smooshed 🥲 hopefully with more sun the open up and raise up a little more to create more room!

I had previously posted this plant before because I had it in a glass vase with water. Some of the leaves started turning brown at the tips, so some suggestions were to take it out of water and plant it. I did that, and then two days later my plant now looks like this! Help please!

Hi, I’ve just purchased this beautiful monstera, absolutely adore it but I’m completely in the dark with how to care for it. I’ve searched lots of tips that suggest getting a moss pole for it and pruning off the baby leaves. I want this plant to grow quite large and lush foliage. Any advice would be appreciated xx
