just found out this is where new leaves come from on a monstera, I feel so dumb 😂 thought my wilting leaves were a sign she was a goner but now I know she's doing very well!

I found this root bound, over fed, pathetic looking monstera discarded in the bushes. I can’t believe someone tossed it!

My monstera grows new leaves very often, and the other leaves don’t seem to be getting any bigger. The stems also seem to be getting longer and there are lots of aerial roots. Any suggestions on how to fix this ? I have a moss pole but I have no idea where to place it since there are so many leaves and they’re all very long. Any help is greatly appreciated <3

Question from a new-ish plant mom, my monstera seems to be growing roots above the soil? At least I think it’s a root? Can somebody tell me what is going on and how to fix this (if needed?)

So I’ve had this Monstera Swiss for maybe a month or two..and when I look it up, in the pictures it’s tall and standing up on its own. How do I get my Monstera to stand up instead of hanging down?

Hi everyone! I’m a new plant mom and I have a beautiful monstera which has been growing a lot! She’s given me 3 new leaves in a month and I’m thrilled! However, I am not sure if I should repot her, or how to support her since she’s growing a lot and it’s growing bushy. Since I don’t have a lot of room inside the house, I’d love for her to grow upwards. I’d love some advice please 🙂

Hey! I’m new, how did you place your moss sticks in? I want to understand my options and make sure I’m doing the right things! 🥰

Hello! I have a monstera adansonii that is doing really well, it’s producing a lot of new growth very quickly. I’ve had it for about 4 months, and I’ve never repotted it. Every time I watered it, it seemed to drain normally, but recently has drained a lot slower, and after checking the bottom of the pot it looks like there is only 1 very small drainage hole. I’m wondering if I should repot it now, or wait until next spring? I’m also moving in around 2 weeks so I don’t want to add further stress to the plant. Any suggestions?

A few months ago, I went to a plant swap. I snatched up a Monstera dubia off the Free table. It’s grown… a bit… since I brought it home. It’s still super small, not sure I can even start it on a moss pole just yet. Anyone have any suggestions on how to size it up so I can get it going? Or do I just have to be patient?

Meet Muenster—named after my favorite cheese as a kid. Lots of debate about moss poles and the like. Any suggestions? I am planning ahead and trying to figure out the best way to support now and in anticipation of exponential growth and monstera fabulosity in the future. Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed!
