sooooo i accidentally fell asleep after watering my plants last night and i leave them on the edge of my patio which is full sun in the daytime to drain and avoid water stains. only one leave burned and i know i need to cut it off but where do i cut to promote new growth?

Hi all, Iâm looking into getting a monstera plant and was wondering how much light one really needed. i love monsteras and think theyâre beautiful but my room doesnât catch a ton of light. hereâs a layout of my room. the west window (W) has a desk and is full of plants already so thereâs no room to set a bigger pot, even in the floor. the north/northeast window doesnât catch much light at all. would a monsters be able to survive there by the window? (i live in western kentucky, if that helps any)

Hello everyone! Just wanted to ask if you think this monstera needs repotting or moving some monstera to a new pot? My monstera has been growing rapidly ever since I got them 4 mos. Ago! Im worried its not healthy for them to stay in this pot? Any thoughts? Or should I just leave it?

my monstera deliciosa, formed these weird bumps on her leaves within 5 days of having her, iâm not sure what they are exactly, and iâve tried to research and nothing is showing up of what i need. Iâm worried it might be a warm up some sort and her leaves, it is also textured as well. I was thinking it might be her leaves forming her leaf fenestration, but usually when they develop split, it just starts cracking⊠maybe sheâs different? if you have any idea whatâs going on, please tell me, Iâm worried about her!

Can monsteras live outside during the summer in Massachusetts? If so, should they get partial shade? It gets pretty humid here and I have central A/C so Iâm thinking outside might be better, but I literally just got my first monstera today, so Iâm completely new to this!

she just unfurled three new leaves around two weeks ago and now this little guy is yellowing. too much sun, not enough, humidity issues? am i over watering? itâs usually a week week and a half before the too half of the soil is dry. a few weeks ago i had to chop a couple leaves off because it had sat in my hot car when i got it and developed black spots. no signs of any pests. let me know what you think!

two week (plus a couple days đ ) update!! the arial root took off! itâs sooo big now and there are a couple little baby roots starting to come out of that. I couldnât believe how much it grew in the week I was gone, Iâm excited to see how much it grows when Iâm gonna again next month.

first time using a moss pole on this deliciosa cutting, no aerial roots yet though. how often should I be misting the moss pole? Iâm in 9b Florida so it dries out fairly quickly after each time. Iâve considered watering the pole itself with a globe but I donât wanna overwater the plant. any tips?

Iâm so glad to have found this chat group. I adore Monsterraâs and finally got one almost 2 years ago. It started pretty small. Iâve seen one leaf with a small hole in it, but still havenât seen any fenestrations. Should I be more patient? Iâve got it in a pretty good window. My only concern is the heat/ac vent that is by it. I can see some aerial roots starting to come out. Iâve read thatâs pretty standard too. Wondering if anyone has any tips, and maybe some advice on encouraging fenestrations⊠unless I just need to be more patient đ
