Have anyone else’s plants died after fruiting? We have a 5ish year old monstera that produced a fruit twice at my work. She was pretty gross and ignored in the corner for the most part but still alive with nothing dramatic happening. It was in the same spot, next to the same plant, and given the same bottled water and moderate level of neglect for the 5 years we had it. The first fruit we left alone. The second I accidentally knocked off so we ate it. The whole plant died within a week of the second fruit ripening. Is this a common thing that happens if you remove the fruit?

Our Big Cheese as it’s called seems to be suffering despite following the Planta app recommendations. We have moved it several times and it’s still seems to be suffering. Both this and the Never Never plant are lifted off the floor, as we have under floor heating. Could this be the issue? Is the discolouration normal in a young leaf?

When do I need to go to a bigger pot? Shes doing really good and I dont want to stress her out. She grew a leaf through the wrong opening, so I may need to remove this trellis that shes in, but shell fall over. The beast is already taller than the window, and Im not exactly sure what to do next. Im really looking for suggestions from the community is all :)

Random question: the air in my flat is quite humid now that it’s colder. My monstera has always guttated after watering but now that it’s humid it seems to guttate every single evening. The windowsill she sits infront of is often littered with water droplets by the morning. Which is cool but will it be affected much if I water it whilst the air is so wet? There’s a new leaf sprouting and I’m basically just over thinking because she’s been doing so well and I don’t want to make a single wrong move and harm her 😅. The soil is almost completely dry on top now.

bought a monstera albo but its leaf grew kind of funky, any advice? Or should I just leave it be?

I know monstera’s don’t like to be cluttered in and like to have the space to grow. Is this too close for my new monstera? Should I move it to a more open space?

I’m a beginner plant lover and repotted my monstera into a pot that is way too large. It’s been droopy ever since and that was about 3 months ago. Should I repot again into something smaller or best to wait until spring? Thanks!

My monstera albo propagation is finally growing its first leaf! Purchased a top cutting on FB marketplace back in July and have been patiently waiting ever since. Not having had an albo leaf before, I don’t know what to expect, but the tip of the new leaf is looking very white. Can’t wait to see its variegation 😅

Hi all, I have a cutting off of my larger monstera and I’m wondering how long I should leave it until I pot it. I’ve attached the profile for it to this post as well if that helps and I’ve also included some pictures of the roots it’s got. It’s currently been in water for 3 months. Any advice is very appreciated since this is my first time potting a monstera cutting

Hello! Can anyone tell me if she's actually a monstera? (She was gifted to me) and maybe help me understand why shes struggling?

Well, I got a mass pole for my Monstera. It took me forever to tie it up, but my poor Monstera has had a mind of its own since I bought it because I never knew they climbed. So I just pinned him up as best I could, and as far as I’m concerned, he looks amazing lol. There still is a portion of him that hangs over but it is so heavy that I’m just gonna let it do its thing. I’m not perfect and my plants don’t have to be either lol I also got him a friend that sits right beside him. I’ve already given him support lol.

Hey can anyone help me identify this monstera prop I have. (If you know about “whatnot” I got it as a givy) and I’m not sure what it is exactly. The clipping I have had a larger leaf but was very damaged from the mail. I might just have to wait until it grows.

It’s not unfurled all the way but I’m too excited to share. đŸ€©đŸ€©đŸ€© two fenestrations on one and FOUR fenestrations on the other side!!!!! It’s not a super big leaf but the fenestrations make it worth it!
