Can't wait for this new leaf to unfurl. ā£ļøš Two pictures one week apart...
Hey again!! My Thai con is putting out a new leaf but sheās in a small greenhouse where sheās hitting the top and the leaves are bending. I worry about her new leaf becoming damaged if it reaches a taller length than the rest. However, sheās doing great in the greenhouse and Iām scared to take her out? What do yāall think is best? Sorry
Advice for repotting a weak start? I got this baby from someone who neglected her in the first year. When I repot can I straighten it out by burying the start of the stem or is that a no go? As you can see from the fenestrations on her latest leaf, sheās pretty happy.
I noticed white spots on my plant which are still visible after wiping the leaves down. Is this ok?
My doggo knocked my new Thai Con while its fresh leaf was trying to unfurl. The new leaf stem bent ššš I used a toothpick and tape to support the bent spot and it appears to be continuing to unfurl. š¤ Fingers crossed that heāll be ok. š¤ This is the first leaf with fenestrations too š®āšØ
Hi this is my monstera, I had a big one but it got to cold and past other than a few leaves ( which are these) I decided I could try to save them⦠any tips and tricks to make this little guy feel better or is there no turning back? thanks guy!
Hi All, I repotted my Monstera Deliciosa from an 8in pot to a 12in. It really needed it, it was practically all roots. The new pot is a V shaped pot (It needed more room width wise) and I have some new roots that are somewhat exposed after repotting. Iām concerned about adding too much more soil because of root rot. Thought Iād ask the forum. Iāve seen huge exposed aerial roots before so I think it might be ok like it is. Thoughts? š
My Monstera babies š Adansonii, Deliciosa, & Thai Cons. I love them so much! Iove love looking at everyoneās Monsteras on this group as well āØ
I really want to cry right now lol my cat was swatting at a fly and she missedā¦instead she got one of my newer leaves of my monstera!! My plan was to wait until the new leaf unfurled and then trim off the broken leaf? Picture of my broken heart and one of new growth coming off the same stem
Canāt wait to see what my Monstera new leaf will look like!
Does anyone know why my monsters is turning brown and crispy at the bottom
Hey guys! Anyone seen this damage before. I got her on clearance from Home Depot. It's a Monster Deliciosa⦠can the brown be saved? there is some new growth coming in and I checked it and did not see any pest on the leaves. The lady at the Home Depot thought it was some sort of frostbite but she didnāt really know. ā¦. Any thoughts?
Check out the growth on my baby! When I got it 2 years ago, she was about 2 feet tall. I got her a moss pole and repotted & today she stands about 5 1/2 feet tall! I have never been more proud of a plant before :)šŖ“
Hey everyone! Bought this Thai con. Not sure if it is a Thai con cuz itās got SUPER high veriagation. Maybe a mint or albo??
hiya! need help with my monstera i got it around the end of august, it was doing fine at first then in the winter things started to get bad. there were bugs on the leaves ( which i think were thrips) and caused some of the leaves to turn brown, some got so bad so i cut them off. I used a spray of water and a drop of soap to help kill the bugs. The bugs are gone but now iām left with brown, yellow and curling leaves ? please let me know if you can help. Thank you !!
Is it possible you reorient the main stem of monstera minima by like a lot š i just bought a plant, and managed to divide it in 2 (see photos of said plants in clear pots) and i want to get it to grow upward (see photo example of single vine on wall), so that eventually I can get it to go across an arch from both ends (see photo of big plant on the arch). Do i just tie it to a stake and slowly bring it closer to the stake? Will that work or do i need to start from a smaller plant trained to go up from the start? The plants I have a pretty horizontal main stem. Thank you!
Any idea of how I can help my monstera? She was so beautiful! Then I went away and she was underwatered, but perked up when she started being watered again. Now her leaves are curling! I checked her soil and have watered her and fertilised her. she is by a north facing window so gets plenty of light. (I donāt have a south facing window). Might it be that the air is too dry? She doesnāt have yellow leaves. Any help is much appreciated! š
