Hey everyone so I’m really concerned for my monstera it’s starting to get cold and I have no inside space for her . It’s supposed to drop down to the 30’s this week in temperature would that be a problem or should I be good? She been doing good in the 50’s & high 40’s but I don’t know if she survive the 30s . Any recommendations?

Hello! First time Monstera owner here. I’ve had this lovely guy for a little over half a year now and it has been growing tremendously. Has had maybe one or two yellow leaves ever and that was months ago since I moved and it now has a prime sunny spot to live. It has a lot of aerial roots that are already growing inward towards the soil for stability, and is growing new leaves regularly still. I recently added a few loose stakes to encourage upward growth as it was starting to get very bushy and wide. I’m concerned with how thick it is getting and wondering if it is time for a moss pole or something else more secure, or if I need to possibly trim anything (which I would like to avoid). Any suggestions are appreciated!

I have had this monstera for about 6 months and i just noticed this thing popping out. Does anyone know what it could be? It’s not a cataphyll and I don’t think it’s a new leaf since it’s all brown no green. It’s also stuck on I cannot pull it off. Help pleaseeee 😌

hi! So i’m trying to figure out where to chop back on the stem of the white leaf so hopefully new growth happens. you can see that there is some green towards the bottom, so i’m hoping it won’t keep throwing white. where exactly would i chop? i have no problem with my other monsteras, but i feel like im going to mess up with an albo 🥲

Is it too late to repot? Should be time to put this on a coir pole, but a bit worried with it being very close to winter...

My Albo decided to give me a 100% green leaf 😢 so I have moved her into more light and will see what the next leaf does.

Finally getting my first new leaf since purchase. It’s been over a month since I got it. And those 2 leaves have been brown since I got it but have never gotten more brown. They’ve stayed the same.

My Monstera has started growing roots out of the soil. What action needs to be taken? Also, I’m sure I need to thin out some of this plant. How do I do this?

Hey guys! Just got gifted this from a friend who was moving. She’s in pretty good shape and I don’t overwater or anything. What could these crispy brown spots indicate? Everything I read says overwatering or too much light- but those aren’t really the case. I’m a fairly seasoned plant care taker, and there’s not a ton of light in the location it’s in. Please help! Thanks in advance :)

👋 Plant Newbie here! Just learned about this, I’m sure many people who are advanced monstera owners already know it, but for anyone else like me here is a neat tip! 🪴😂

Hey everyone , so this leaf is looking like it’s def going to be smaller then the rest. She was in a pot that she was very root bound and I changed her pot as she was starting to pop out. Should I be concerned about a smaller leaf or is it cause of the previous pot being to small?

Carefully removed this offshoot from the mother plant after it was putting out roots from the edge of the pot into the ground. Gonna experiment with getting it to climb my Ylang Ylang tree. I planted the longest core root into ground and will let the other air roots find their way. Any suggestions on how I attached it? It’s not too tight and the two ropes are made of hay and dried papyrus stems. Any advice appreciated!
