Does anyone know why my monstera is browning? One looks like burn and the other looks like its lack of light but its the same plant?

Is it safe to move a monstera outside in a shaded area for a couple hours then back inside so they can get some of this Texas humidity. Will it cause them to go into shock ?

Hello! 👋😊 Just wanted to see if anyone here has had success combining 2 separate monstera trimmings together into 1 pot or would recommend against it? P.s. these 2 specifically that I was considering combining are from separate mother monsteras if that matters at all.* (Also 2nd question since I’m here… 😅 I’d appreciate any recommendations on supports to use for the already potted mature monstera) Thank yous!!

Hello! I recently noticed some interesting node growth coming from one of my monsteras old leaves, and I wanted to see what y’all thought of it. I was quite confused at first thinking it may be some sort of weird new vine growth, but it looks more thick and hardy like a root node that somehow grew through the old petiole crevice like a new leaf. Any ideas? Am I just being a novice and this is something super normal and simple?

This Thai Con had thrips and we are on week 6 of treatment. She is growing a new leaf....but it has a black mark. My last leaf, pre-thrips, was the same and it was all black and deformed. Is it still happening?

My Thai con is finally bringing a new leaf but it appears like it’s going the wrong direction from the sun? What would cause this as there’s no light on the other side and I’ve been told not to rotate of course.

Hello i’m not too sure what I can do to fix this Monstera but if there is anything I can do please let me know. I do not have a source of income right now, so try not to suggest super pricey things. my main concern is the very thin like base holding everything up. I have a straw some old scissors from my elementary school and some form of plant holder keeping everything up. I’m just not sure if there’s a way to make like the base of this plant stronger.

ChatGPT told me this was the best monstera for the value at my garden center but it was still $45. I bought it because I'm a sucker, but what type do we think this is?!

I plan on propagating my deliciosa for the first time and have wondered if any of you have tips. I know all about needing a node, leaving the growth point, and keeping aerial roots. But do I cut one leaf off or two?

Bryn

Just a quick tip if it’s useful to anyone. I was using a neem oil/water mix to treat for knats last year & accidentally discovered that it’s a perfect natural leaf shine (vs the store bought). Just dust leaves with water & some neem oil (i used a microfiber towel on the monsteras), or even just misting with the mixture (as I usually do with pothos) with it will give a really nice shine ✨

Hi Everyone! Thank you in advance for any advice you can provide me. I’m obsessed with my monstera Thai constellation. However, it has gotten so strong that it is leaning over in its pot and I’m looking for any suggestions that anyone has to help this? I’ve attached one glamour shot but also a shot of the plants lean. Thanks again!

So I found a very very low var albo a few months ago. Decided to give it a chop and put it in moss. It gave me a new leaf about 3 weeks ago. I kept waiting for the new leaf to darken and it is staying a neon green even though it has hardened and been 3 weeks. What is going on with this? I have never had this happen with any of my regular monsteras or albos. Thanks for any help!
