I’m a new monstera momma as of today. Me and my Auntie go to our first babies together! Do all of her leaves look okay?Do I need to cut any of them off to allow new leaves? Also do new leaves that haven’t gotten holes yet tend to be very soft and thin? And curly? Thanks guys!! I just want her to thrive!!

I think maybe this is due to overwatering (it’s on the covered front porch but might be close enough to the edge to where it gets rain and it rains basically every day in Florida), but can anyone help confirm why they think the stems and base are starting to yellow? None of the leaves really seem to be turning (yet). It otherwise seems healthy, though I have been battling mealy bugs for over a year now (they seem to be more under control in the last month or two, using alcohol soaked cotton pads and Fertilome).
My monstera Swiss cheese plant is growing well but seems to be tilting to the side. Should I add some type of support in the pot?
UPDATE: So I checked out my new monstera plant(s) and I actually think it was 6 monstera plants in different stages in the same pot. I potted them all separately, so I’ll see how they do! I found some knitting needles to prop them up. I will try to find new homes for most of them once I make sure they are healthy. Meet the cast of The Three Musketeers - D’Artagnan, Aramis, Athos, Milady, Constance and Planchet! You might be asking where’s Porthos? That is my Pothos plant.
I have been watching videos about caring for monstera plants since acquiring one on Friday. I suspect now that mine is actually two or three in the same pot. Would anyone be willing to look at these pics and let me know what you think? The videos I’ve watched spoke of splitting them up. In ordered a trellis for it, but if it is two do you think I should repot and separate?
My two monsteras in 5” pots were looking leggy so now I have one big pot and all the leggy is buried underneath because that’s no one’s business anyway 😂
How long does it typically take a monstera leaf to unfurl? I have one on my new plant, D'Artagnan, and I’m so excited! It is fenestrated! OK I said I wasn’t going to get anymore plants but I just ordered a Thai constellation monstera so this will definitely be the last one lol. I am just enjoying my monstera so much I decided I need another. (ALSO: I also definitely don’t need another and have no idea where to put it lol)
I got this new monstera and repotted it a few days ago but most if not all leaves seem damaged , anyone know what’s wrong it’s 3 stems in the one pot one
Does anyone know why my plant isn’t growing up, but out? What can I do?
I need help with placement for a moss pole. My plant is growing backwards. All the leaves are facing in the direction that the aerial roots are growing from so I’m not sure where to put the pole. Please help 😅
Hello, so the boyfriend said the window has too many plants so this is my solution. I don't think the bottom plants are benefiting from the grow light (there are 5 monsteras) . Any advice on what I can do?
I get it now! I finally understand the monstera love. D'Artagnan has a leaf that is going to unfurl and I can’t wait to see how he grows!
This is my first Monstera and i’m trying my best but i’m not sure if this is a problem or not! My Monstera seems pretty healthy except one of its leaves just seems to grow upside down? It’s almost brand new i’ve only had it for a week or so and i just noticed this. Is this a bad thing?
Moo-mau is snuggling with a monstera leaf 🥹
I water propagated this from a single node cutting from Audrey II who has now completely taken over my front yard with leaves almost as big as me. This is leaf new number 5 in 3 months and I definitely think he's ready to go into a pot. 😂😂
So excited to see the progress of my Thai constellation and to see how big the newest leaf already grew and harden in 10 days especially with this being my second plant ever . I am concerned though because I notice a little brown spot on the leaf 😫 it’s been there since I bought it and hasn’t gone away does any one have any ideas ? I also notice that I have some mushrooms growing in the soil ? Should I be concerned about its little mushroom pot pal?
Does anyone know what’s wrong with my adansonni? I’ve kept it in water since I got it and it’s been siting on my windowsill that gets full sun for the first half of the day. I noticed it going brown and yellowing earlier.
just bought a few of my dream monsteras, i'm actually in awe at the size of the leaves on the bigger one😭
Hello! I am a relatively new houseplant keeper and a brand new monstera owner. My MIL brought me this for my birthday and now I have the task of repotting. I know monsteras like a chunky soil with a moss pole. But looking at this plant, it appears to be multiple monsteras in the pot. Should I separate them or plant together as is? Any advice for repotting this plant is welcome!
So my fertilizer got lost in the Amazon shipping process and now they are out of it till about next week and my Thai monstera is in need of fertilize. I currently have miracle grow plant food that was given to me , would that work for it for now ? This would be my first fertilization since I got the plant cause she is one of my newer ones
