Will this leaf re grow ?
A few of my leaves have yellow spots popping up. Idk what to do. I repotted him last month, water him every 9 days, backed him away from the window so he wasnât too close and gave him support. Whatâs is wrong with him?
Iâve seen lots of people showing their plants with the leaves extending. Mine is going really well and growing really good! Please let me know if you have any good ideas for lighting and watering!
I just started doing this and I thought that my monstera Scarlett should have the light of attention.
I recently got this Thai constellation from marketplace and it is doing great but the roots are out on the top and wondering if I should repot it in a slightly bigger pot. Any advice would be appreciated!đ€
My first monstera! It has two big leafs and this is the newest one to sprout itâs been so fun watching this grow
Just got my first monstera adansonii. Found her on sale at Walmart looking a little sad. Any care tips and advice to get her looking more happy??
First leaf with fenestration!
Already have 2 Thai cons but I couldnât leave her behind especially with this variegation! Judging from the leaf thatâs coming in and the stem it looks like sheâs going to be mostly white. Any tips on highly variegated plants? How do I avoid further browning of the leaves - my other Thai cons do not have that..
My best girl đ„Č
Is it time to repot my monstera? The root is coming out of the bottom.
Over the past ~3 weeks, my Monstera has given me 7 of these short little leaves without any fenestrations. Any idea why? What am I supposed to do with these?
So I recently ordered some rare monstera propagations from Thailand and I wanted some suggestions on how to further care for it to make sure they 100% make it. I was thinking of doing a peat moss with tropical soil mix to start it off with a humity dome. Any ideas?
My babies newest leaf and it has another on the way.
please help đ„čđ„č i picked up this beautiful girl about a week ago off marketplace in prep for my first home and making it as green as possible. i noticed some of the leaves were yellowing/curling in so i moved it further from the window yesterday. i just got in from work and noticed more curling in and now these leaves that look as tho theyâre being eaten. is this something that happens or should i be looking at the cats (that arenât coming with me - i know monsteras can be toxic to animals). i really want to help her thrive and i feel like ive already let her down. any beginner tips and suggestions are so appreciated 𫶠edit : weâre still getting snow here in ontario so the heat is on. iâm sure that doesnât help
The before and after of the monstera that I bought from Trader Joe's. The root ball was so large it took me 45 minutes to get into it. I ended up with 3 plants from the original. I'm so proud of myself!
Hi everyone!! Before I decide to water my monsteras, I need to know if theyâre in too big of pots. I recently repotted her and she was very droopy, so I separated some of the plants and repotted them into different pots, but am worried they wonât grow or face root rot since the pots are too big. Could anyone let me know so I can repot her and give her the ability to grow?
8 days ago I repotted 2 healthy looking plants, each in a 4â pot, to a 6â pot. They looked ok for a couple days and then became sad and droopy looking. I thought maybe repot shock. Last night I thought maybe there were pests on a plant about 8â away from the Peru. It was a Pilea that has pretty much always looked rather shiđ±đ±y. Long history w/ that plant. It went to Pilea Hell last night. Checked the Perus, thought they might have white dots on them that I could wipe off. Wiped all leaves and stems with alcohol. Today it looks even âdroopierâ. Wasnât due to be watered for 4 days. Checked it and it was dry for 3 inches of the 5 inch depthâso I watered itđ€·ââïž Any thoughts or tips? Iâm not convinced that there were pests on either, but wanted to err on the side of caution. Iâve posted pic from today. It didnât look much better than this yesterday. TIA for any words of wisdom đȘŽ
My poor baby Glenn is sick. Why are his leaves looking like this? Heâs kept in in-direct sunlight, not in direct A/C flow. Any tips would be very helpful đâšđȘŽ
Why is this leaf discolored? I recently repotted her but she has been pushing out a new leaf since then. I did have her outside previously but moved her inside with a grow light because I thought she was getting too much sun outside. Could it be from too much sun or overwatering her when I repotted? I canât figure out whatâs wrong :(
