Hi! One of my in-laws recently gifted me a couple of plants, as well as these clippings. She insisted is was a type of Monstera but she didnât know which one. I tried looking it up via Google Image search but that said it was a kind of Philodendron. I want to make sure I take care of this plant properly, so can anyone help me identify it? Iâm happy to share more info/photos if needed. Thanks in advance!

I moved my monstera to my balcony in early June, Iâm in zone 4b. I moved it when I knew night temps donât go below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It has been very hot and it gets maybe full to partial sun. Any ideas why this is happening?? Should I put it back inside or do I just need to water more?

A few months ago my roomba decided to know over my Thai Constellation and run it over đ. All that was salvageable was a single leaf. Stuck her in a makeshift semi-hydro set up with Leca and put out its first fenestrated leaf! đ
The Deliciosa has also started to really fill out!

Hi! Is the first picture I have here a monstera obliqua (specifically the los tayos variety)? It was a wet stick cutting I got from a refuse pile so i never got proper identification. The second picture is of what I know to be a monstera adansonii. Third picture shows some of the inner fenastrations and exaggerated holes of the possible obliqua.

Hey guys! I chopped my first monstera and just put it in water, how long does it normally take for the roots to grow? I wanna make sure itâs staying on track so I can fix any problems bwfore they get to bad! Thank you all!đ

Ok, do I have this right? I could cut this monstera resulting in 4 parts. The one in the pot and each of three pieces that are connected to the aerial roots below. So I cover each of the aerial roots in moss and plastic wrap until roots start forming and then I plant them in soil right? One of the aerial roots is like 3-4 ft long. Not sure how Iâll handle that or even get it into a pot. Generally speaking tho, cut, wrap, bury right?

Advice on how to even begin helping this giant and likely ancient Monstera at my work appreciated! I have no idea how old the soil is or who or how often it gets watered. As you can see, though, it needs some love!

I didnât want to do a moss pole - scared of mold- for my Monstera adansonii. So instead, I watched a video and made cuttings !
I know to change water once a week, but can I leave them on the counter not near the sunny window? Or do I need to put them near the same window the mama plant is in?
Help this is my first time propagating and Iâm nervous! đŹ

And just when I think Iâm doing nothing right my Thai con shows me sheâs happy still. Just reminds me that I can apply that to my own life too. I am not rich in the materialistic way. With love though I am forever blessed.

Any recommendations for small and unique looking monsteras? I've always been drawn to them but so many of them are just too huge (I would love to have a thai constellation but WOW it's big)

Sorta monstera sorta not⊠Iâm excited, got a young spiderman monstera (Amydrium) today from a local seller. New to these and research indicates they can be tricky. If anyone can share any tips Iâd appreciate it!
Ambient conditions, average humidity about 60%, potted in a semi hydro blend.

Hi everyone! I got a Monstera adansonii a couple weeks ago and it was doing great. But lately, Iâve been seeing mold on the soil. Iâve removed it and added cinnamon, but it keeps coming back.
Itâs been raining a lot, so I moved it to the front of my house for more sunlight. It used to get partial sun, but now it gets full sun most of the day. Itâs in chunky soil, a plastic pot with drainage, and surrounded by other plants.
Also noticed a couple bottom leaves turned black and fell off. Could this be from too much rain, sun, or the move? Any tips would helpâthanks!
(The picture isnât current since itâs midnight, but I can add an updated one if needed.)

I have a huge pot with three monstera plants that are growing great and constantly putting out new leaves. I have flexible poles in the pot that I need to take out because theyâre not sturdy enough. Thinking of replacing with in a large moss pole - any recommendations? Probably need the pole to be 40+ inches or more
