Do you guys believe that large form monstera albos exist? There seems to be conflicting opinions online and no official science on it. Some say no but all I find when I look it up is that they're very real, just incredibly rare and expensive. I've only recently become interested in albos and discovered this tidbit of controversy

I picked up this beautiful Monstera from Home Depot. It has several stems so I added two Climb-Itt poles for support. There are leaves growing in EVERY direction lol. How invested should I be on getting them all front facing (if even possible)?
Sooooo excited to see this new leaf in all of its glory! The new leaf is typically bigger than the ones before it right?
I dont care if its variegatedâŠ. i dont care if its variegated âŠ.. đ«Łđ±
Is the node growing up top an aerial root? If so, how should I support it? Is there anything I can do to encourage a fuller plant rather than the leggy growth I have right now? Any help appreciated!
Freshly showered and two new leaves well on their way. Four new leaves so far this year.
Do I have my Thai properly supported?
Day 5 of propagating my Thai con!! I couldnât post anything for two days because I was on a trip , but itâs official there is a root growing!! (The lighter area of the node is the new root) ~ I do get asked a lot about how I propagate and my answer is only distilled water! Sometimes I will add a golden pothos as if they grow together in water it promotes growth! ~
Very noticeable progress, in just a few days!! Go, Herman, Go!!! đȘŽđ„ł Also, saw these lil castaways joining the partyâŠlol
Our new rescued monstera!! Our 6ft8 beauty! Any care advice will be absolutely welcomed
Just wanted to share my monstera I love her so muchđ
I am in need of advice. Iâm trying to get my monstera attached to a moss pole. This is my first time. I want to get it to climb and Iâm having a lot of difficulty with it so I need to know what to do and how best I might do it. The main problem is whatever the nursery used as medium is so tightly compacted I wasnât able to completely get it off my plants roots while switching soil types. It was extremely root bound and I found that it had a cloth plug attached to it. I wasnât unable to remove it so I did clip it on several sides to try to loosen it. Because the top of the soil was so compacted I couldnât loosen the roots at the top or straighten out aerial roots and attaching the moss pole didnât go how Iâd like. How do I best sort this out. I know thereâs gonna be different opinions and ideas. Iâm not against a chop and prop if I absolutely have to.
âŠsorry to dominate this side group so much lately! Herman question, once again. This app says to mist his leaves, whereas my Alexa+ recommended not doing that and just dusting them once in a while. What say you amazing plant people!?đȘŽđ
How close should a full spectrum light be from a Monstera leaf? Trying to prevent any issues before they happenâŠheâs a year or less old and just starting his next new leaf!
Pretty sure Herman is starting his first new leaf under my care!!! âŠnow we wait! lol đđȘŽđ„ł fingers crossed đ€ this one has some fenestration!!!
Iâm about to toss this expensive monstera. Itâs the most maddening plant I have ever owned. The price tag did not help. I got it from a reputable online nursery and everything else Iâve ordered in the past has been excellent. I think itâs the genetics of this cultivar. I have had it for almost 1.5 years and this is all itâs doneâbarely grown and just turn the limey parts papery brown. Grow a new leaf, then turn brown for no f reason. And itâs starting again on the newest leaf. Itâs not water, itâs not fertilizer, itâs not light⊠what am I doing wrong. I own a few monsteras including other variegated types but nothing has been like this. Any advice would be helpful.
Iâm so excited! My Athena is growing 3 new leaves at same time!!! đ±đȘŽđȘâïž
My Thai Con from a big box store has some mechanical damage that was stressing me out but look sago pushing a new leaf?! đđ±
Exciting day! We are turning over a new leafâŠ. Hah! This monstera was abandoned a few times (not by me) and i finally have her in my control. She was a mess of weight and weakness so she has a baby cage for now. But I have been rewarded with a new leaf. Gotta give her a fighting chance.
