Hello everyone, I hope everyone's day is going well! I am needing some help with my monkey plant. A.k.a. Monstera and Adansonii. I have just plucked off three totally yellow leaves on the lower part of the tallest one. And my smaller one seems to be Starting to yellow as well. I let them dry out quite a bit between watering. And they have been getting their regular fertilization. And they are both by a humidifier. What am I doing wrong?!? Any tips and suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

My new big baby for only $26. Can’t wait to make her a moss pole and repot her into some chunky potting mix☺️ It’s the cleaning up part that I’m not looking forward to.
I read in another post somewhere that monsteras often have multiple plants in one pot when you purchase them to make them look fuller. Is that what I have in my pot? And if so should they be separated ? Would that help them grow bigger? O bought this in June so 6 months ago. I’ve repotted it once about two months ago and it seems very healthy and happy but only one partly perforated leaf and it doesn’t seem to be climbing or even trying to. The one perforated leaf came out three months ago and none since. I bought a moss pole but wasn’t sure it really needed it yet. What do you all think? Time to separate the plants?
Monstera Peru. Getting big and looks great!
Several things happening with monstera Scooby Doo! My 7th leaf was born and it has inner fenestration but seems like it will be a little smaller leaf. I finally repotted, very root bound as expected. Hopefully it recovers fine. I ordered a moss pole and it will be here Friday.
Is it selfish of me to cut around the burnt parts , I really don’t like how they look but don’t want to either lol
Woo hoo! This very damaged (thrips) stem is reshooting where I chopped it (left). I did this with a different plant and it just shriveled and died. So, do I try it with her brother (right)? Small and ugly and leaves also thrips damaged. One leaf is ok. This plant is 18 months old and this is it! Granted, it was just a small node with 2 leaves, but you can see it is still quite juvenile. Monstera hate me.
i wanted to show off my beauty’s new leaf, it just keeps looking more beautiful every day 😍💚 (also side note i was on my tip toes here so i’m just a bit shorter than the leaf)
New leaves with variegation!!!
Newest leaf on my younger thai 😍 Her first little perforation!
Help! I’ve had this monstera awhile now, and she just put out this new leaf. It feels really rubbery and isn’t sitting upright like the others - is that normal? Also I have it in perlite, monstera specific soil, and orchid bark, with sphagnum moss around the base for humidity and a humidifier, but I don’t have a moss pole or any way for it to grow upwards, is that something I should do? I repotted not that long ago and don’t want to shock its system, some of the leafs don’t have holes and aren’t growing. I tried adding pictures of everything. It’s getting 12 hours a day of a grow light and some light from a window that’s like 14 ft away. Clearly I am a new monstera owner so pls help me 😂😭
Could this be a root coming up alongside the pot of my Monstera? Or a baby? Do monsteras have baby’s grow up from new shoots? It’s pretty hard and firm in place.
Winter weather has created a dry atmosphere in the house. What kind of humidifier should I use for the plants? Warm mist or cool mist?
Hey guys I’ve recently noticed, since I’ve had my monstera and repotted it I have been having lots of little flies bugging me in my room… is that because they’re breeding on my monstera leaves or maybe on my other plant (scented pelargonium) ??
Hi everyone! I’m new here… I just got this GORGEOUS 8” Thai Constellation and I’m terrified to repot her because I spent $130 on her…. I’d love any and all suggestions on how I should repot this and if this seems like a good set up? There is a grow light above this one as well. TIA! :)
How can I get my monstera to grow? I’ve had this propagation for 2+ years with barely any growth, I repotted a size up in the summer and it grew 3 leaves. 🍃 But that was in August and I haven’t seen any growth since. Also no fenestration ever, which I thought would happen by now. Got grow lights on now that it’s winter.
This Thai con used to be 3 leaves and now she’s enormous….. I’m thinking about repotting since her roots are crazy (pics in comments) but she keeps pushing out new leaves….. if I leave her and she gets a little rootbound do we think she’ll keep putting out these bigger leaves? I’m nervous to repot her since she’s doing so well but would love some opinions or encouragement! Thanks!!!
Is her new leaf going to be smaller and shorter or will it grow to be the size of the first picture?
Hey,can anyone give me tips on how to make my monstera grow faster it popped out 2 new leaves in 2 months and now I’ve waited 2 months again and have no new growth it got upgraded from a 4in to a 6in pot it’s been getting this plant food you mix in with your water when watering and I keep it under a grow light for 8hr what am I doing wrong is it becomes it’s December? Besides that here’s my baby
So I know Monsteras like tight pants but this Thai Con I just got seems to be a little extreme! I honestly believe the only soil on in this pot was like a half inch dirt on the top and the rest was pure roots! Forbidden Ramen!
