I got this monstera plant two Fridays ago. I split it into six individual pots. Today the first fenestrated leaf with a slit has fully unfurled! Iâm so proud of him. I think the SANSI grow light really helped.

I have a soft spot for rehab plants. Got him at Home Depot for $3. I don't usually repot as soon as I get them home but I wanted to see what was happening here. The roots are healthy but the growers had him in a weird, loamy soil that was super dense and wet, so I repotted in my own chunky mix that I use for my other aroids. I've never owned an adansonii before... Any specific tips I should know beyond normal monstera care?
This is (I promise) my last impulsive buy. Went to pick up some items to fix supper. And the grocery store had a collection of tropical plants in 10" containers for $25. How could anyone resist? Now, please don't ask, like my bf did, where I was going to put it. đ
My mind every time I see a new leaf: âUnfurl! Unfurl!â
Saw this beauty in my local garden centre last weekend. Went back today to buy it đđ
HELP!! My monstera has killed herselfđ„Č. She was in semi-hydro leca and was fine for months. Recently she was a bit droopy so I thought she wasnât getting enough sunlight. Today I checked on the leca and realised her roots have rotted (and part of the stem) There are some salvageable Aerial roots but anyone wanna suggest anything to help me keep her alive???
I just need to share with people who will get it. I went to Loweâs for some fertilizer last night and found this stunningly variegated albo on sale for 14 freaking dollars!!
Now on a trellis! Thanks for the help!
In need of some professional Monsty Mothers/Papas. My Monstera Deliciosa has a very bushy undergrowth area and Iâm worried itâs not allowing him to thrive up in the air as much l as I would want from him. Will this be the case, I donât see many others looking as bushy as mine and I really want him to grow another big leaf as he hasnât yet since I got him. His name is Monty Heâs in a 25cm plastic drainage pot with regular potting mix (got some bark and perlite on order to upgrade him to a more airy mix when next repot) Desperately under qualified for a Monstera but canât hate a tryer!
My 2nd leaf in 2 months for my Thai con - cant wait to see the variegation on it! Seems my Gloriosum is pushing out a leaf at the exact same time!
my Iechleeriana is fenestrating
For the second time, my adosonaii got root rot. I chopped again and put the survivors in water. I got this plant in March from a Tampa nursery for a decent price as far as nurseries go. Now it's down to this. At one point, it was over a foot tall. But Im glad I didn't lose the entire plant.
Is my Monstera Adansonii putting out new vines?? What are these green shoots?
Do you see what I see? đđżđ
My very first gifted baby!!! I canât believe I finally own a monstera!!!!! Very new to plants but this beautiful lady has been on my mind for a while! Welcome home big momma
Does my girl have 3 âseparateâ plants? Iâm repotting her and staking her so I want to make sure I find her back currently đ„č
Hey everyone Iâm back again lol so when I got my Thai constellation it already had the leaf out and just needing to be unraveled. Is what I circled in the purple new ones popping out ? Whatâs the difference between the ones that grow out the soil rather than attached ?
I have two new leaves but one is deformed:( Did I do something wrong? Should I leave it or chop it?
Should I cut back this leggy baby? Sheâs been doing amazing the last few months, so many knew leaves but sheâs so leggy from before I had her and where i trimmed some older/smaller/unhealthy leaves. Do I just need better support to make her look better? Iâm scared to chop her. Is it just an aesthetic choice or would chopping her possibly help her? Idk i probably should leave her alone if sheâs doing great but Iâd love thoughts from more seasoned Monstera parents!
$10 at Walmart. A win for the day!!!!
