Newest leaf just unfurled!
Should I snip the brown leaves off?
Had my XL Monstera a week, she’s been placed under a grow light and while I’ve been away one of her leaves has started to point upwards. I have a self watering moss pole which I’m going to attach to her new pot when it arrives. Should I also reduce the amount of hours she is under the grow light to help with the upward pointing leaf? (Currently under for 12 hours) Or is she perfectly healthy and happy with how she is Thanks in advance :)
Hello little friend! So stinking cute🥰
The leaves were starting to droop and the soil wasn’t holding water long. 😅 I had not repotted it since I purchased it so it was in a green garden pot…into a clear pot Mr. Monstera goes! Hoping for some great growth now!
TLDR: Can monsteras regress? I got this lovely delicious, repotted, and brought it to work in a west facing window. Put out a gorg leaf from a stump and I was so proud. The next leaf it’s pushing out doesn’t seem to have fenestrations though? Is that possible?
Question, I have a monstera thai, (named lalisa, iykyk) and idk what color decor pot to get for the outside. Any ideas? Also idk why the brown/black spots are on the leaves. I water it once every week, and the pot has drainage. Plenty of light.
Just wanted to show off my newest leaf on my monstera !!!
My Thai Con ‘Mavis’ 💚
I saved this lady (aka big mama) from Walmart, and she’s giving me new leaves! I can’t wait to see them undone!
Can anyone please tell me when I should be repotting my monstera? I know they like to be root bound and she’s been growing really well, but she’s starting to dry out a little faster than before. I don’t want to sacrifice her beautiful leaf growth and I’m not sure when to make the move.
It’s happening!!!!! After much much MUCH patience, Elphaba is finally putting out a new leaf!
Does anybody have a Monstera Oblíqua? Send pics
My Thai Constellation has recently had black patches appear on the leafs. I’ve had it for almost three weeks and it appeared last week. It’s kept indoors and have been following the care guide from the Planta App. Any help is much appreciated :)
Look at this Thai constellation monstera that arrived today from BWH. I only paid $25 for it because I had shop cash and it was on sale. I think his name is Aramis. He has a new leaf that will open soon! I was going to use a treleaf trellis that I have to support him. I tried to set it up today but I think his roots are so dense that I can’t get it into the soil. I don’t want to repot yet so he can first adjust to his new home. Should I wait until I repot him so that I don’t accidentally damage any roots?
Just got this Thai Constellation Monstera from meijer.. every plant I’ve got from them, the soil is like wet spongy kinetic sand. I haven’t repotted it yet into my chunky soil mix (coco coir chips, perlite, orchid bark + tropic. Potting soil), but This new leaf was coming out when I got it & now it looks like this :// It’s in a self watering pot and the soil has been wet. I’ve had it for about 3ish weeks now & I usually repot at 2 weeks. Should I repot, is this from overwatering?
IMO Monsteras are the best statement/furniture plants for a home ✨
I’ve had this Thai constellation for quite a few months and it’s only put out one leaf. It’s also growing what I assume is a root. Should I just let it do its thing or is this a sign that it needs something and is seeking it out?
I have had my mini monstera (shes called munch!) for a few years now (i absolutely adore her and always have done, my first plant ive cared for!) but i feel like she almost looks a bit sparse/empty? Is this normal for this type or do i need to do something more for her? Many thanks in advance!!
