Absolute beauties 💘
Hi All, I just did my first miss pole for my Monstera and I notice fungus gnats today. I use Molly’s mis which is soilless. Does anyone know if the sphagnum moss could be the issue? Or attracting them. I don’t know if I can deal with it if they do. I don’t do bugs 🤣and am pretty vigilant when it comes to prevention. I brought home a Scindapsis and haven’t reported it into Molly’s mix yesterday so that plant could have brought them in. Just wanted to get feedback on how to keep them away from a soggy moss pole going forward. Thanks!!!
Hello plant peeps! I am new to caring for this beautiful monstera (Coco), however, I love this plant and the leaves it produces. Worried about the browning parts on her though. Recently repotted and pruned her because of root rot and pest that were deep down in the soil. Any useful information or tips on keeping this plant healthy and happy? Don’t want to kill her before she takes off and flourishes. 😅💚
I Just propagated these babies, and they’re looking sad, droopy, and one leaf is yellowing. The soil is dry I watered it 3 days ago when I repotted it. The pot has drainage holes, & it is placed next to a large window. Any suggestions on how to help it?
Hi! I love my Monstera! Worried that the new leaf shoots are brown and the underside of this leaf has brown and yellow spots. Please help! What should I do?
Burle Marx Flame
The best new leaf.
Got this beauty last night from our grocery store for $29.99 😳. (The price is real!!!!) I’m thinking of going back to get another 😅
What’s the rule of thumb for pruning? I have quite a few OG leaves that are broken and sad, and I have some immature leaves that look ugly lol how many is too many leaves to cut? Where do you cut? Should I cut? lol I have all the questions! Example of leaves I want to chop for aesthetic and to promote better growth:
Can someone please help. What might be the issue of this plant? I think it’s a monstera? Or zebra pant? Same thing? Many thanks for your help.
My first perfect new leaf! Just had to tell someone. Ha! ☺️
Finally have my longed for large monstera deliciousa (have adansonii and a teeny Thai Constellation) and it’s oh-so beautiful and already more established than I expected when I ordered it. While a lovely surprise, this also means I’m having to get my head around support faster than planned. Any advice for a newbie to support? If I go with crossing U supports for now, would it be harder to switch to a moss or coir pole later? If I go with a pole, do I need it to be taller to allow for growth? Should I only pick an extendable option? How fast do they outgrow support? I’ve been doing my my online research and am very confused, any advice much appreciated 😅
Well… I thought I was doing well. I did move her to a window. Did I scorch her leaves? 😢
Hi! Any advice on what these small brown specs are on my monstera deliciosa? Also the yellowing leaf? This plant grows in water with a suitable fertilizer. All other leaves appear fine. It just put out a healthy new leave recently. Thanks!
hi! i installed a pole today for my monstera, will this one aerial root that i’ve attached it to be enough to get the monstera to grow up and start rooting in the pole? i’ve also pulled one of the nodes to the pole and secured it, but i think there are 3 monsteras in this 1 pot! so realistically i can only get like 2 of them to touch the pole. is this enough for it to start rooting up the pole? id like to guide eventual roots into the slits in the pole
Ok, i recently purchased this baby Thai con and i know i have to repot it bc it’s in a flimsy tiny plastic cup w/ sphagnum moss. But I’m terrified about getting the soil mix wrong! I recently attended a plant event and one presenter said to be weary of orchid bark/wood because they’re more prone to fungus/rot but many soil mixes I’ve come across for Thai cons includes orchid bark. What soil mixes do yall use/recommend for your Thai con?
Does my Monstera need repotting immediately or could it wait a week or two?? thanks in advance <3
Where do yall get your Monstera Albo Variegata or Borsigiana Albo plants?!?!? If online, where? TIA!
