Hey! I’m new to this app so thank you all for having me, I’ve had this Albo for over a year now since buying from fb marketplace. It came as just the cutting of the large leaf and since growing I repotted it. The growth has become really leggy and the leaves have been getting smaller and smaller I really wanted this to produce large leaves like the one that came from the sellers plant however as things got in the way I’ve not had time to pay attention to caring for it. I was thinking of repotting into a smaller pot with fresh soil , and cutting off the top bit of growth to give it a fresh start to produce healthier leaves. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Should I just propagate and start all over?

Hey y’all, my thai monstera’s been doing great but I’m wondering if I need to be worried about how frequently I’m watering him. Recently he’s been needing water about every 4-6 days, more on the every 4 days side now (using my finger to get 1-1.5in into the soil to check). The app’s schedule has been acting a fool lately, telling me daily or every other day which I’ve been snoozing. He’s only been in his current 6in planter for 5months and he’s pumped out 4 leaves and several large aerial roots in that time, so he doesn’t seem to be root bound, or at least not upset about it. I haven’t checked his roots yet because I didn’t want to disturb him while he worked on his new leaf, seen in the picture. Watering every 4 days just seems like a lot…?

What’s a good watering cycle for a Monstera Adansonii?

My Deliciosa has been growing like crazy! I noticed this node and it looks like a great spot to propagate. Never propagated monstera before, any suggestions on how to go about? (Water vs soil vs moss mix?) Thanks!

A Valentine’s Day present last year. We pulled this baby apart (gently) and have 5 different plants around our home plus an additional 4 at a friends house that are healthy and thriving! Seeing the progress is soooo satisfying

My first Monstrosa already has a problem. Little veiny starting to yellow leaves. My thoughts are 1. Just moved her to a too sunny area 2. Wrong type of soil: all purpose potting soil 3. Water imbalance. Thoughts?

My Thai con was my “change of heart plant” that fully got me addicted to caring for and loving plants, and for the first time since November, she is putting out a new leaf!

Please help!! My monstera leaves have been sagging and I’m not sure what’s wrong. I thought maybe he didn’t get enough artificial lights from the lamps I have so I moved him near the window. I watered him last probably a week ago.

Hello 👋 do I need to add more soil? And what is this coming down from the plant? (The brown stem/root??) Also, I was told I need to get a moss pole so I have one coming in!

Advice on this big boi? I usually wait for the moisture meter to read Dry before giving it water. Have never repotted since getting it second hand 1.5 years ago (was roughly 2/3rds the size it is now. Currently dormant and hasn’t produced any new leaves in a few months. I feel like some of the older leaves are turning more of a faded green. Probably should trim it however I have no idea where to start. Thanks!

HOW CAN I SAVE THIS??? Sad update! I repotted and rooted the aerial roots and now this is what I’m left with 😭 I think the repotting was was very traumatic. I’ve given it a few days clearly but she’s not gonna make it, but it looks like the bottom most rooted leaf is doing well still. What should I do from here/ what would you all do from here? If u didn’t see my prior post, I bought this for $25 from someone in my town.

Hi folks! I’m relatively new to caring for houseplants (other than cacti, succulents and air plants). I saved this baby from a vintage mall earlier this month. I repotted it a couple of weeks ago as it was rootbound and had outgrown its nursery pot. The leaves are still really curly, but less yellow/lime colored. Does it look like it’s recovering okay? Any advice or insight from more experienced plant parents is greatly appreciated!
