Hello! Completely by chance, I received a cutting of a Monstera (I think Deliciosa but this one is young still) by finding it on the floor of a Whole Foods earlier tonight lol. It was completely by itself, don’t know how it got separated from its plant, but I took it home and am wondering what the best course of action is to help root it and survive as a cutting. Do I just put it in a vase with only water and see if it grows roots? Do I add some type of fertilizer? What do you guys recommend? Thank you in advance, I’m so excited!!!

Hi everyone! I have a monstera and I just brought it back in my room after moving it to the living room for about 5 days now. It’s growing so big I wanted it to have more room in my living room and it is not happy at all :( I used a stake to prop it up because it was very droopy. Tomorrow I am going to buy a large wood one and prop everything up. I also used a grow light on it for 4-5 hours a day and since moving it to the living room with more light by a window I stopped doing that. My cats also decided they were going to swat at the leaves and bend a few large leaves right in the middle which isn’t helping :( yes I know they are not safe for cats and mine never bothered it not even once until moving it to the living room :( any help is much appreciated! I have new growth still and have had to cut some leaves off and may still need to cut more unfortunately that are bent

I chopped my monstera white and I already have new growth!!!

Should I cut the unhealthy leaves or cut off entirely? Pic of whole plant and what I want to cut. It may be diseased in some spots. Your help is much appreciated 🥰

I haven’t posted in so long, so I figured I’d show an update on my monsteras! My Deliciosa is really thriving and has grown 2 new baby leaves ❤️ my Thai Constellation has grown a new leaf (the first new one since I’ve bought it) 🥳

What’s going on with my Thai constellation? It’s got brown on leaves now is it from being to close to the window? Or is it something else? New to plants so I’m trying my best to learn and keep them thriving

a month ago it put out a new leaf and today it’s putting out another!😁

This is Monty. Just a small guy when I brought him home from Trader Joe’s, He continues to push out new leaves and seems generally happy. I just redid the Velcro strips and I think they’re placed okay. It looks like there are maybe four plants in there and I was thinking I’d split it and repot two each into smaller pots and add moss poles to grip into instead of just supporting it with the coir pole. Any tips or advice for or against?
