It’s been about two weeks with my Monstera! I had a hard time in the beginning adapting to help it grow (as well as my spider plant) What’s some tricks to benefit my monstera, I have gotten a light lamp since I don’t have enough sunlight through the day! How much does everyone water and how much water is good! Any advice would help! 🌱

MY FIRST FENESTRATED LEAF!!!

Newish plant parent. Completely new to monsteras. This is my first one and it hasn’t really grown much in the weeks I’ve had it. I did cut some damage off the leaves.
Looking for any tips, if it looks like I’m doing anything wrong let me know!

i recently got a thai con which came in a self watering pot, but i'm not using hydro/ semi-hydro medium. i've taken out the self-watering thread and instead put pebbles & water in the resovoir below the actual plastic pot the roots sit in for extra humidity. is this setup okay? will this increase chance of root rot or will my monstera be fine? (that new leaf has unfurled and is fully fenestrated!)

Does this look okay as far as where I’ve placed the pole and tie? She was leaning heavily the opposite way of the pole. Just not sure if I did this right.
Thanks in advance!

Hi! One of my in-laws recently gifted me a couple of plants, as well as these clippings. She insisted is was a type of Monstera but she didn’t know which one. I tried looking it up via Google Image search but that said it was a kind of Philodendron. I want to make sure I take care of this plant properly, so can anyone help me identify it? I’m happy to share more info/photos if needed. Thanks in advance!

I moved my monstera to my balcony in early June, I’m in zone 4b. I moved it when I knew night temps don’t go below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It has been very hot and it gets maybe full to partial sun. Any ideas why this is happening?? Should I put it back inside or do I just need to water more?

A few months ago my roomba decided to know over my Thai Constellation and run it over 😕. All that was salvageable was a single leaf. Stuck her in a makeshift semi-hydro set up with Leca and put out its first fenestrated leaf! 😀
The Deliciosa has also started to really fill out!

is it normal for new leaves to be droopy like this at first? it's only unfurled in the last week.

Hi! Is the first picture I have here a monstera obliqua (specifically the los tayos variety)? It was a wet stick cutting I got from a refuse pile so i never got proper identification. The second picture is of what I know to be a monstera adansonii. Third picture shows some of the inner fenastrations and exaggerated holes of the possible obliqua.

Do you see what I see? 👀😍

Hey guys! I chopped my first monstera and just put it in water, how long does it normally take for the roots to grow? I wanna make sure it’s staying on track so I can fix any problems bwfore they get to bad! Thank you all!💚

Ok, do I have this right? I could cut this monstera resulting in 4 parts. The one in the pot and each of three pieces that are connected to the aerial roots below. So I cover each of the aerial roots in moss and plastic wrap until roots start forming and then I plant them in soil right? One of the aerial roots is like 3-4 ft long. Not sure how I’ll handle that or even get it into a pot. Generally speaking tho, cut, wrap, bury right?
