Hi! Some of my plant babies are needing a nice repotting, but I’m not quite sure what soil mix to pot them in. The plants in question are: spider plant, string of bananas, monstera adansonii, and pink ficus. A lot of these plants’ soils have become hydrophobic and sponge-like, and I want my babies to thrive. These plants all seem to like looser, well draining soil, but I want to create my own mix to best fit each of their needs instead of buying a typical “well draining soil” and putting them all in it. Does anyone have any diy mix ratios that they find work best for these plants? I have perlite, sphagnum moss, peat moss, and some pebbles currently, and am able to get more materials pretty easily.

i picked up these two little ones at a garden centre yesterday and the label on the monstera says ‘Monstera Mix Mini’ - could anyone help identify what it’s turned out to be?

What’s the best support for an almost 5ft deliciosa? I’m currently using bamboo stakes but they’re not sturdy enough after the 2 new leafs this year!

FINALLY!!! After SIX YEARS, loosing multiple leaves due to injury, being repotted twice, she’s growing a new leaf!!!! 🥹🥹😭

I keep forgetting to buy a trellis 😂. Is it too much light on the plant? It didn’t look like this last weekend when I repotted it. The pot is too heavy for me to carry in the house 😭

I need advice 😢 I brought my monstera home today in the car, but because it was so hot and sunny lots of the leaves have burned! I’m really upset she was beautiful before! Should I trim the burnt parts off ? Is there anything else I can do to help her out, I was going to repot her because she was doing so well but I’m not sure what to do now!

Rescue plant!!! Definitely repotted immediately (frowned upon but it was in like….seed starter soil!?) and I’m already seeing brighter leaves same day!!! Will keep updating!! 🥹
