Bought this huge baby today!! Iâve been looking at him for months sat all sad and straggly in the window of a lovely little shop. They were selling him for ÂŁ49.99, heâs at least 5ft 8 (my size) maybe even nearer 6ft because he is the size of the doorway. I thought it was time to rescue him and give him a loving home. đ

A standing grow light can help your Monstera grow and have a light ambience. I would choose 19-45 Watts to avoid training the plant to handle more light

Some leaves from my monstera are turning black, is it due to a lack of sun? Because I recently moved it from where it was before and it used to be right by the window and is now a bit further back.

She just got repotted after 14 months. She should now use her energy to make more roots for about 5 months, then she will produce the MASSIVE leaves we all want. I don't use expensive soil, just Miracle Grow 360 Organic, but I would suggest adding bark or lava rocks to avoid water lock.

Why is this leaf looking so sad ? When i got it about a month ago it looked like that but i thought i might just be cuz it was new but its giving me a new one and is still looking sadđąđą Looking for any advice

My monstera has a leaf that wonât open. Itâs been closed for about a month now. Somehow it got ripped at the base of the leaf (it appears). Could this be preventing it from opening?

Unfortunately my dog got to my monstera I had been growing for two years I havenât seen it in person yet but is there any way to potentially save it.

First time monstera mom and noticed that the new leaves that have unraveled are very floppy. Is this normal or could this be a humidity issue as I do have a humidifier next to it?

A colleague of mine donated this beautiful monstera to me! Iâve left her to rest for a few days since moving her to a new place is already a lot, today Iâm going to make a bamboo fan trellis and a sphagnum moss pole⊠any suggestions in terms of how to care for her? Sheâs used to natural light but sadly my living room window is NE (compass tells me sođ ) so Iâll be using a growing light instead.. She seems super heathy and happy she just needs some support!

Hello ! Need some advice on my Monstera Albo. I recently went on holiday for about 9 days , but before I left I did the following for my plant. - left an automatic grow light to turn on for at least 8 hours a day - watered with normal tap water ( I have attached the dates where Iâve watered her) But when I came back, some of the white variegation have gone brown! Please can I have some advice on why this is happening? And how to prevent? - I have started to mist the leaves every other day and make sure to wipe any dust. - I always have a grow light that faces her for 8 hours a day, since my room doesnât get a lot of light. The grow light is on 2nd dimmest setting as I didnât want to burn her. - noticed recently that 2 of the leaves are curling slightly? Not sure if itâs my imagination Possible reasons why this is happening? 1. It has gotten a lot colder recently 2. I have never fertilised , â- I have Baby Bio Organic houseplant food , does that work? 3. Never been repotted, as I only purchased in July of this year Really appreciate any advice and tips! Thank you!
