so for background, my roots were outgrowing the pot and i made a post asking should i repot. (everyone answered yes but i was waiting until i identified a new pot/soil). she started yellowing and lost abt three lower leaves before i repotted. i repotted abt three weeks ago and now she has two additional leaves yellowing. do you think this is just shedding because of new growth or should i be concerned? roots looked okay but attached for reference. thoughts welcomed.

Hello 👋🏾 about 2 weeks or so ago I began propagating a leaf from my monstera. And since it’s grown a new leaf and roots. Should i keep it in the water at this point or put it in soil? This is my first successful propagation 🙂

What is happening to our plant?! Lol. Recently, a new leaf came out and it was time to water this weekend. We watered it yesterday. The leaf started moving!!! It facing the ground fully today. Is this normal? And what can help to bring the leaf back upright? Thanks 🙏🏾

Hi! Repotted my monstera last week and it has been a droopy mess ever since. Tried to give it a little water to perk it back up but not sure how to get her back to her perky self. Any help would be glorious.

New to plants

Just noticed these brown spots have appeared on my albo monstera. Any help to why they have developed would be much appreciated.

Hi folks, I found a boutique plant shop in Las Vegas, and among the beauties was a monstera adansonii with very small leaves. I would estimate 2-3inches in length. I’ve looked online but can’t find any evidence this is a cultivar or otherwise identifiable and available to purchase specific type. Anyone know otherwise? Should have taken a pic but didn’t 😞. Feral Vegas cat just cause 🙂.

Hi!!! I am new to this plant and I was over watering it. I repot it to get rid of the bad soil. However the bottom of the plant is looking dark and yellow. What can I do about that?! This plant was growing so well!

I need advice please. I’ve had this baby for over a year, possibly two. As you can see it’s still in its original 4” pot. I’m planning to repot now even though it’s recommended in the spring I just feel it needs it now. My question is regarding the height and legginess. The tallest are about 16” yet the leaves have remained quite small. I realize it hasn’t had sufficient light and I have a grow light I’m adding. Do I trim the smaller leaves? Should I take down some of the tallest to make it less leggy?

Sorry to post again but I am really nervous about this plant not surviving. I knocked it off its soil roots and then chopped up and have been rooting in water. Is this enough to go into soil?

What is this and how do I get rid of it? I only watered this pole once and never did it again due to it being high maintenance. I do however have a humidifier next to it. The last time I watered this and my monstera was a week ago and this showed up. TIA!

UPDATE! I originally posted about my Monstera "Monty" on October 10th, and it's had tons of new growth! I'll post the first picture along when the most recent one to compare :) To the left is on October 9th, and to the right was last week!

Hey all, I recently potted a large clipping of an older monstera after about a month of of rooting in water. (I added a picture of the roots before potting) This is about a month later with a new leaf sprouting up. Since I have moved it from the window and under my grow lamps for the winter, the new leaf hasn’t made any progress. Is this anything to be worried about?

My monsterra is so big now, but I live in a tiny apartment. Is there any way I can make it stop growing ?

Meet ✨Big Eartha✨ she is just a babyyyy. Any care tips are greatly appreciated since this is my very first Monstera. Already regretting adding the coir pole since I hear the wooden tips rot very easily & fast. So only using as a temporary method.

Hello everyone, I am currently having trouble with my monstera. Two of my leaves have developed dark spots on them and I’m not sure exactly what is causing this yet alone how to stop this. Please any assistance would greatly appreciate Plant was purchased about a month ago I cleaned it up and repotted it. Watering has been once a week usually on Sundays but never later than Mondays.

I feel permissioned to geek out here bc you guys get it. Monty the monstera underwent a massive repot and trim project today which of course made me reminisce on how far he’s come in just under two years!
