So I bought her like this as she was cheap with being imperfect, I’ve repotted in better soil and she had fungus gnats as well that I think I’ve sorted now. But does anyone know what has caused the black spots on her leaves there’s even some on the new leaf that’s unfurling. Thanks

In my own experience I’ve found spots on new leaves usually are water getting into them somehow. Have you been misting her?

I’ve had her a day lol so no misting, it was bought as imperfect because of the spots (super cheap), if it’s just water on the leaves that’s great, also had fungus gnats but I’ve repotted in better soil and treated that and the roots looked fine. Just wondered if it’s something that it’ll hopefully grow out of or a more systemic issue.

Yeah hopefully next leaf will come out without dark spots! If the roots looks fine I wouldn’t worry

You never know what a plant has been put through from the prior nursery when you first get her. You might want to treat her with fungicide. It could be from over fertilizing or too much light. Give her a chance to acclimate to your set up and you may just see the problem eliminated. 🥰
