I plan on propagating my deliciosa for the first time and have wondered if any of you have tips. I know all about needing a node, leaving the growth point, and keeping aerial roots. But do I cut one leaf off or two?

    Either or, as long as it has a leaf and nodes/ aerial roots it should be fine

    yes, the leaf count doesn't matter. it also doesn't really need a leaf 🤷‍♂️ make sure you let the cutting dry out for at least 8-12 hours, preferably a whole day, before you put it in water or peat moss, as they are prone to rotting otherwise.

    Important to note that top cuttings will continue mature growth while middle/bottom will not.

    My friend recently propogated just from a leaf stem in water. There wasn't even a node. It took a long time to root, but it rooted!
