Does anyone know what’s wrong with my adansonni? I’ve kept it in water since I got it and it’s been siting on my windowsill that gets full sun for the first half of the day. I noticed it going brown and yellowing earlier.

    could be sunburnt, or nutrient deficiency. fertilize and see what happens.

    Has your environment gotten drier than usual? A lot of my plant leaves were doing that, and I live in a dry place, and when I started misting them daily the leaves stopped going rough

    Cutting is too big and the plant is struggling (I can see the leaf is smaller than normal and a smaller leaf is a smaller satellite for light to make roots). Cut your plant into individual leaf nodes about 1 inch long and it’ll do a lot better. You can remove a lot of that extra internode. The spacing between leaves should only be a couple inches in proper lighting. Anything beyond 2-3 inches is stretched (and while it looks good, the plant itself has too much green to support without roots.)
