From what I’ve researched, right where you’ve got those twisty ties is where to cut. You’ll wanna propagate two leaves on the same cutting. Hopefully someone else with more experience can back this up because I plan on doing the same thing for the first time soon as well.

In my opinion, I would wait until your aerial roots. Get a little bigger like this. Or you can get you some moist, moss and saran wrap and wrapped the node that you see. Let that get some good growth on it before you cut it that way you know it’s going to make it.

I agree with Flplantlover. These are your small nodes. You can promote them to push out aerial roots (how the plant climbs and gets nutrients from sources to upper leaves faster and more efficiently). It’s why we see bigger leaves as plants like the monstera and pothos utilize them in a moss pole set up. If you trimmed now, there is more room for error than if you waited a month or so. They are useful in propagating because it’s how we can start a new plant!

Either white line, you could just cut the top or the top and bottom. As long is there is nodes you can cut under
