Hey, I’m new to this group. Just wanting to know if it’s time for me to use a moss pole for this plant. Ps I just repotted this plant.

    They don’t require moss poles to grow or thrive, that’s for people who want to display and grow their monstera a certain way and get the biggest leaves possible. You can use any kind of support pole if it starts to try and leave the pot or you can just let it do its thing and repot it whenever it outgrows it. I don’t plan on doing a moss pole or anything of the sort with mine because I want to keep my plants a manageable size to move them if my job ever requires me to move out of state. It’s all up to how you want to see your monstera in the future 💚

    I have tied mine with string. It does the job 👍

      Be careful tying the petioles to things as the plant wants to reposition them and it can cause issues, most of the time only the main stem nodes should be tied to prevent damage to the petioles

    It doesn’t require a moss pole but it does need support to thrive. A plank of wood does just fine
