Hello! First time Monstera owner and decided to start by rescuing a neglected Delicosa from Facebook Marketplace. This baby is in ROUGH shape. I've pulled two (hopeful) propagations off of it, but I don't know what else to do! I moved her from a 12 inch pot to a 20 inch pot, but she's SO HEAVY and awkwardly shaped. Any tips welcome!

    Get the old soil off of her and than replant in new soil... that would make it alot easier to repot and move to a bigger pot

    Make sure to water heavily with that much of a pot change. If it was me I'd probably chop off all that bottom. Portion and replant those top portions that are close together. But those are my own personal esthetic issues 😆

    Staking the back of the monstera stem (where the aerial roots come out from) will help it to grow stronger and upwards. You can slowly train it back into shape using zip ties on the stem (but never the petioles!). If there are leaves that face different directions, I’d maybe sacrifice those and opt for those that are facing the correct direction. They are meant to grow up trees usually so having a stake or moss pole is generally the best method for getting the most out of your plant. If you want some realllyyyy good advice on monsteras watch the YouTube channel “Kill that Plant”. He’s brilliant.
