Are these tiny white bugs in the soil harmless to my monstera?… | Monstera Maniacs | Plantaコミュニティ

Are these tiny white bugs in the soil harmless to my monstera? there’s none in the leaves but they are quite disturbing… if they’re soil mites they’re apparently beneficial but I can’t tell if that’s what they are. I’ll be repotting soon anyway but there’s literally hundreds of these bugs in the soil so I just hope its okay!

They could be springtails, in which case they would be eating fungi and decaying organic materials. Just shows your soil mix might be a bit on the rich side, maybe?

Looks like either springtails or fungus gnat larvae
