I need some advice ya'll...I got my Monkey Face Monstera about 2 years ago. I lived in a condo that didn't have great light but she did ok, just very stringy. We've recently moved into a house that has a beautiful ledge near a west facing transom window, and after the move I noticed that some of the vibes were looking a little rough. Her main stem also got pulled out of the soil a little on accident and I'm afraid it may have broken from the root system. I'm going to repot her, but do you think I should trim her vines and kinda start over? She's growing new leaves, but she's just struggling...TIA!

wow she’s beautiful! if you’re worried about her being too viney, i would try to pin some of the stem into the soil (i like to use bobby pins). since monsteras are aroids, they develop roots at the nodes along their stems. if u let the nodes develop roots in the soil, u can create additional vines and fill out ur plant. i would consider taking off some of the length since haircuts definitely help, but you could propagate anything u chop off and place it right back into the pot to fill out the plant with new vine growth.

So for my Monkey Face Monstera the entire plant was growing from one vine making the soil look very bare. To fix this I trimmed the vine, then propagated the clippings until they grew roots. Then I just planted the leaves back into the pot and this made it look so much more full. Maybe this may help with it looking stringy especially once the new vines start growing.
